The tribe who we usually see walking their cattle wearing the red robes and wearing all the earrings, bracelets.

If I recall correctly, the first high jump gold winners in 1900 or so were about 6 6. They used a hurtling technique like these young men. The next technique was rolling over the bar. That got up to 7 5 with the Russian jumpers able to touch a basketball rim with their foot. That was about 1973. Then came the Fosbury flop. It's all getting your center of gravity as high as you can and passing your body over the bar at that point.

@@SomeGuy-fl1gz Actually the video is named "Kenyan High School High Jump (OFFICIAL)". As to the method used...It is an older style that was used before Fosbury. As to calling another idiot? That is wicked and never appropriate to do but let's look at my original post, shall we? #1 I questioned another as to the height they were prideful about. #2 It is clear that the bar was nowhere near Olympic standards "8 feet+". #3 I asked a question as to the bar height in the video(No one answered as far as I can tell as of yet). #4 My final point was that high school high jumpers can make a height of 6 feet easily(the record is 7' or so)? Now I understand there may be a language barrier so it may be just a misunderstanding, but overall my post had nothing idiotic within it, and those who were so quick to call names, say more about themselves than others.

This is what should be considered as the true legal way of high " jumping ", clearing the bar with your legs under you and not following the torso like with the Fosbery flip Which is really more of a roll over than a high jump. You could not use the Forgery flip in real life to clear an obstacle because you have to land on your back, which is potentially deadly. With this old technique they land on their feet, which is more practical in real life
