Hope you enjoy this video guys, a *huuuge* thank you to Sam for showing me around Kenya and for giving me the real Kenyan experience! Sorry for the late upload, I am currently sitting in a car on top of a hill in the pouring rain using an internet hotspot from a mobile phone to upload this video as my laptop has a problem which only lets me connect to certain WiFi networks - Thanks to Apple for selling me a brand new laptop that has more problems than a car without an engine *(dad joke).* Enjoy! 🇰🇪

Indeed! Kenyan people are warm and welcoming to foreigners. I wonder whether I would get the same reception if I visited New Zealand Nick? or is this just an African thing? Being accepting and kind to people regardless of their race or culture is the epitome of humanity in my opinion and Africans seem get it right on this one.

It's a money thing, nothing else. The more wealthy a country is, the less friendly and welcoming the people are. Wealthy people always think you are coming for their money and think they have nothing to gain by being friendly to a foreigner.

It's fun to see how your editing skills are developing. I love the drone dolly-zoom shot @ 4:26 and the sideways shots of the houses give an interesting falling effect. I like how you leave lots of spaces for really simple shots, like talking to camera or scanning the produce in a market place or travelling in the back of a tuk tuk. I like your use of time lapse also and the way you always start the video leaving the hotel and end it in your room with some thoughts about your day. You seem to be developing a nice balance of different kinds of shots and a distinct style is becoming more and more apparent. I'm not even into editing but for some reason ive taken an interest in yours xD

It's rediculous man. That is why you hear those Kenyans that have travelled outside the country saying that Kenyans back home love to kiss white people a*s. The kind of love white people get in Kenya is not the same kind of love we get from them while in their countries. A lot of them are full of hate. Actually, sometimes the best thing to do is to just avoid them.

Just curious how do you know where its legal/not legal to fly drones for each country?
@Msapere6 жыл бұрын
For Kenya which I can speak for, there are notices/signs in certain areas. Otherwise we just fly them and if a security guard or police(wo)man doesn't show up then it's all good. But generally the locals will have the info so asking around first is always a good idea.😎
@TheTororist6 жыл бұрын
@@Msapere thats bad info. in kenya you need a permit from the civil aviation authority co signed by the DoD otherwise police can harass you and ask for bribes if they notice you're a foreigner with a drone or worse still they or custom officials at the airport may confiscate it

Is it worth paying the high entry for Fort Jesus? My friend said it isn't so I didn't go in. But maybe next time? Because in Nairobi I paid 22$ for a poor nature walk, felt betrayed. 5$ would have been okay. The Haller Park Mombasa is definitely the better option. And of course nothing beats a real safari tour!
