@@tomhenry897 Haiti boasts the second longest Caribbean coastline after Cuba. and its basically almost untouched! stretching for approximately 1,771 kilometers (1,100 miles). Our coastline features a diverse array of landscapes, from pristine sandy beaches and rocky shores to picturesque bays and coves. The lengthy coastline offers numerous opportunities for tourism, fishing, and maritime activities. Additionally, Haiti's strategic position in the Caribbean makes its coastline a significant asset for trade and transportation. Haiti's potential also lies in its rich cultural heritage, vibrant art scene, talented musicians, fertile agricultural land, stunning beaches, unique biodiversity, historical significance, energetic youth, entrepreneurial spirit, untapped natural resources, potential for renewable energy, strategic location in the Caribbean, robust diaspora, and resilient community.

What type of violations ? Can any be individually documented ? 10,000 killed. By who ? The peace keepers had responsibilty for killings ? These are not answers and the interviewer should have followed up.

Haiti just needs to keep a shared presidential system for several decades to allow thto country to get back to its feet. There's just too much conflict with a 1 President system for them. They don't trust each other and that vibe spills into the legislature. Gangs became part of the political landscape and were maintained in part to suppress political opponents. A shared presidential system (like it is under the current transition) will be the perfect Haitian solution to a Haitian problem.

Haiti is on fire and nobody is doing anything to help. I understand the skepticism, this isn't a perfect solution but it's easy to criticize while doing nothing. I hope the Kenyan's and all the troops that are tasked with this mission are able to help start a new beginning for Haiti.

If it helps Haiti to eradicate rapes, gangs, crimes and human trafficking so be it Kenya or any other country. It is not an easy task but we wish the Kenyan police all the best. Somebody gotta do it.

What a mistake, a heavy handed police force with little respect among its own people even before the protests last week. I can only imagine how worse this will get in Haiti after they start through Int their weigh around.

Haiti has been a failed state for decades, its more like Somalia. Hopefully, the Kenyan police can help stop the violence, but they probably need two full divisions to stop this crisis. Basically, Haitians cannot govern themselves and have consistently demonstrated this for years. They probably need an outside dictator to make their country work.

I think they just need to keep a shared presidential system for several decades to allow the country to get back to its feet.

I was young and now i am old, yet I have never seen where law and order had been restored with more force or peacekeeping missions. Not in Afghanistan, south sudan, congo, yemen, libya, syria, somalia or any other nation on earth... I hope to be optimistic but going by history ,it going to end up as a failed mission... Time to NEGOTIATE and empower your citizens.... Only Hiatians can solve Haiti's problems.....
