I dont think Anelka was "never given the credit he deserves". He just never hit the heights on the field that was expected of his ability. Still a classy player brilliant player(hence why Real went for him) but frustrating at times. Felt like he had more potential then the level he reached. Think his attitude was wrong at times. Well we replaced Anelka with Henry so it didn’t work out too badly. Wenger’s biggest mistake was breaking up the Invincibles too quickly and putting too much faith in players like Fabregas. Hated when we changed our style of play to wannabe Barca and totally neglected the defence for a decade.
