It's indeed the case that when I'm in Sindh, and offer to pay with my card, shopkeepers inform me there will be an additional charge of 2-3%. This practice of surcharging card payments is common in many areas across Pakistan, leading most of us to prefer cash transactions

It seems that practices vary by region, and perhaps more awareness and adjustments in policy might encourage broader acceptance of card payments without extra charges to the consumer.

We Indians are blessed to have Narendra Modi as our leader. He led the Digital India initiative from the front, brought in the JAM trinity, completely changing the way subsidies are given targetedly, finish the leakage issue due to corruption, bringing in more people into tax net and making the tax money used to further build India's capacities in manufacturing. Can't believe the kind of life we were living in 2010-2012 and how things have changed now for good. Still much more to go. So Modi ain't going anywhere, for the next 5 years.

پاکستان کی حالت زار اور اس کی بحالی کے بابت سوچ و بچار کے لئے کوئی بہت بڑے ماہر اقتصادیات، بڑے بڑے بزنس مین اور ماہر معاشیات کو بلا کر کسی کو سر دھننے کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ پاکستان کی معیشت کی بحالی کے لیے صرف چار نکاتی ایجنڈا ہی کافی ہے- 1- بجلی گھروں کے ناجائز اور غاصبانہ معاہدوں کا فوری خاتمہ۔ 2- ہر طرح کی اسمگلنگ اور چور بازاری کا خاتمہ ۔ 3- FBR اور دیگر سرکاری اداروں سے کرپٹ افسران اور اہلکاروں کی نوکری کا خاتمہ اور کڑی سزائیں ۔ 4- غیر ترقیاتی منصوبوں، سرکاری مراعات، نیک نیتی اور ترقیاتی کاموں کا فول پروف چیک اینڈ بیلنس کا نظام۔ اور سب سے آخر میں پاکستان کا مصلہء اقتصادیات نہیں بلکہ اخلاقیات ہے-

شاہزیب صاحب جب نواز شریف صاحب نے 2016 17 میں ائی ایم ایف کا پروگرام مکمل کر کے ان کو الودا کہہ دیا تھا اور پاکستان کی ہے اکانمی بہتر سمت جا رہی تھی بہتر ہو گئی تھی تو پھر نواز شریف کو ہٹا کر اس پاکستان کو دردل میں پھنسانے والوں کا بھی تو انصاف ہونا چاہیے جن لوگوں نے دوبارہ اس پاکستان کو اس دلدل میں پھنسایا جس میں نکلنا مشکل ہے
