Definitely Kerala has best social indicators but economic model is extremely unviable, the state government's overspending in social development with barely spending a penny to create proper industrial ecosystem has made it a bankrupt state, now only way for kerala is to reduce social spending by huge amount which will affect the social indicators in short run and use that money to give incentives to companies to establish manufacturing,IT and R&D facility so that Kerala does some justice to it's well educated Youth,investing in industrial developement will create proper economic model which can be used for social developement in future this is the only sustainable way,otherwise it will become bankrupt and will completely lose social indicator merits in few decades and may have to face same fate as what bengal is facing currently

Kerala can create good state universities providing high quality courses with best research facilities, and can have a good economy in field of education,after all best business in India is education

Kerala can either be upcoming bengal or upcoming tamil nadu,if it doesn't change it's economic model all this social developement glory will fade over a decade or two
