I’m keeping good thoughts and prayers for the Flannel fam, including the furry members. Hopefully everyone is on the mend and stays healthy! Lovely start to this page! Queen of Flannel Thor > Chris Hemsworth Thor!

Pitt pens have the same colour system as the Polychromos which might make colour matching easier. Also, depending on the paper, they streak less, and never bleed through the paper, even with 10+ layers. Thx for the video.

I do have a few Pitt pens hanging around. But, part of this series is more about showing people how to do this technique with different supplies. The Pitt pens are on the pricier side, and I want this to feel like any one can do it even with cheaper markers. I chose my preferred supplies for this part, but I plan to bring in some others for future segments. Thanks so much for the comments and the watch 😀

I bought this book, its amazing but i bought some regular color pencils,so i mean i guess it looks good but i wonder if it would be easier with another type of coloring source?

That is 100% up to you and depends on what materials you like to work with. I enjoy mixed media, so I try all sorts of different things in my books. I also have issues with my hands, so sometimes a speedier medium helps me finish pages that might otherwise end up being forever WIPS. Thanks for the watch ❤️

If anyone is wanting markers to try the techniques out I found a 100 pack of crayola markers today that has a lot of light shades, they also have the colors of the world sets with more light tones. Both were very inexpensive.

Erica over at @Elmcolors does beautiful work with Crayola markers and pencils. I’ve done some work with them in other books, but I just find the Tombows work best for me.

@@QueenofFlannelColors For sure but the price is $$$. I will play with these and see if it's something I want to pursue and then maybe look at some open stock. Most of the sets have a ton of pens I wouldn't use, it's mostly the light/pastel colors that are useful. I just thought I would mention it especially the colors of the world which fly under the radar a lot of the time, they have a bunch of pale tones and earth tones which are hard to come by in other sets.
