Thank you for your suggestion of let art blend with your soul. I've been going through a lot of deep deep dark depression. My 35-year-old daughter started using heroin and meth. I am so lost she will not let me save her to go into rehab. So I'm trying to turn to my art to help me escape my present situation so I don't go absolutely crazy. I tried doing 2 journal pages but I got so caught up with what I wanted the in process to look like rather than enjoying the movement of the paint in the artwork. Thank you you are a true blessing to me. I have your KZbin page cast to my big screen TV to really see all the effects that you're teaching us. Please lift my daughter in prayer. Thank you thank you, Linda

OH I'm so sorry Linda, It must be so difficult I can't even imagine. Wanting to help our children is our number one priority and when we can't, well it feels like our world is ending. I try to enjoy the journey although its of course hard when all we want is to see good results because it signals us that there's good at the end of the tunel, especially when we can't see the light in other things. however for me sometimes just pouring stuff on the page and releasing those emotions helps so much. I hope you find a way to help yourself as you matter as well! sending love and blessings to you and your family.

Sometimes I get caught up in the idea my art has to be serious and I always needs to be better; I forget I do it for the joy, contentment and peace it brings me. Your exercises reminded me of that. Art has been healing and I can't let the craziness of the outside world in. Thank you.
@KerenTamir4 жыл бұрын
Yes Penny that's exactly it, we forget and we are hard on ourselves and criticize ourselves too much. We need to be kinder to ourselves too, and enjoy creating so it can heal us

Absolutely brilliant, Keren! I've always seen coffee cup stains as something to clean up (spent a few yrs as a waitress), yet simultaneously marvelled at how beautiful they were. I've also seen tea stained needlework. And I have cherished memories of a beloved aunt preparing New Orleans' famous Cafe du Monde cafe au lait for me. You've got my creative inspiration flowing again. Thinking of a million projects, all at once. Thank you!
