Kerillian did essentially destroy Ubersreik but Saltz was the reason why another town was ALSO destroyed, people don't like her because of their own prejudice and because it's the "norm" in the community even though Sienna is the MOST boring character in the entire franchise, literally you see people from this community referring to Kerillian as a "wood-elf" and literally saying things like "death to all elven people" or "that's what you get for keeping a wood elf" like wtf kinda video game prejudice is this? 😅

@@dianamunoz4296 It's more complicated than just prejudice. Sure, people don't like elves in general because in so many universes they're just pompous, self-righteous and just full of themselves. Warhammer is a great example of that. And Kerillian acts on it, thinking of herself as being better than others just because she's an Elf. Then there's the part that I really like to dig into. People think she doesn't care about anyone or anything but the truth is she does, a lot. She's just pushing everyone away not to get attached, because in the end it hurts less. I've known people like her IRL. They don't want to attach themselves to others because they think it's inevitably going to end up with them being hurt. They usually have a very small circle of friends and rarely open up to anyone outside of it. Kerillian seems to me to be just that. Her self perceived elven superiority aside, she does seem to care about the team (at least by the time Vermintide 2 takes place) and is afraid of losing them. And that's inevitable, if not because it's the end times, then because she's an elf and thus has a vastly longer lifespan than any of the remaining members of the squad, 3 of which are human and thus have a lifespan of less than 100 years. Even Bardin who's a Dwarf isn't capable of reaching an age that she could've lived to had End Times not happened. Hell, one of her quotes when she ends up alone is "Mayflies always fade, but I'll miss them all the same.". That says quite a lot about her imho. Besides, she's quite aware she isn't well liked by anyone and points out to Saltz that he's in the same spot, which he refuses to acknowledge. K: I hate to say this Saltzpyre, but we've much in common. No one likes us, for starters. S: Not so! I am well-respected! K: By who? Name one? S: Valiant Kruber K: Name one who isn't lying!
