The brushed DC motor was invented in the 19th century and is still common. Brushless DC motors became possible with the development of solid state electronics in the 1960s. The electric motor creates torque by keeping the magnetic fields of the rotor (rotating part of the machine) and the stator (the stationary part of the machine) in an off-line alignment. Brushless motors are better than brushed units. Users can benefit from reduced maintenance, improved efficiency, reduced heat and noise. Brushless motors are synchronous units with one or more permanent magnets. Brushless motor power tools are now considered high-end products.
Since this electric motor has no brushes, it needs less general maintenance.
Operates effectively at all speeds with rated load.
It has high efficiency and high output power/size ratio.
It has a reduced size with far superior thermal properties.
It produces a higher speed range and lower electrical noise.
A DC motor consists of two electrical parts: stator and rotor. When powering the motor, it creates a magnetic interaction that activates the motor. When you reverse the direction of the voltage that powers the motor, it turns in the opposite direction.
1985 - Hard disks the size of today's 5.25-inch CD drives (1.6 inches high) are produced. 1987 - 3.5-inch hard drives of up to 500 MB are produced. 1997 - IBM releases a 16.8 GB hard drive for desktop computers. 1998 - 25 GB discs are released.
Brushless direct current motors are synchronous motors powered by direct current electricity through an inverter or switching power supply, which generates electricity in the form of alternating current to drive each phase of the motor through a closed loop controller.

Muy interesante trabajo. Creo que tendríamos problemas para obtener 90 Amp. en un modelo para volar. El motor muy conseguido, pero a la hélice, le falta mucha eficiencia. Gracias por tus vídeos, siempre enriquecedores.
