This woman is a genius whose career was almost ruined by money hungry record labels who had no idea what to do when they actually signed a naturally gifted strong artist with a clear vision for her art. Glad she's independent now. I love this music video, and the message. She morphs into the young beautiful Kerli we know now, but the truth is that she's radiating beauty the second the video starts.

I was 11 when I first heard these songs, love is dead, walking on air, creepshow... What a time that was. Kerli was one of those artists who caught my attention as a sad girl with a lot of angst and curiosity for dark, fantastical things. I was listening to Evanescence and Black Veil Brides, watching Coraline, Alice in Wonderland and Repo! The Genetic Opera, using this gift I guess you could call it, of escapism.. to be other places in my mind, to survive the pain of my young life. There wasn't anywhere else I felt I could breathe but in art and music. Making worlds, friends, adventures, through this sort of surreal, spooky lens. Shockingly I'm not a basket case in an asylum or idk a serial killer, like they all thought I probably would be.. lol, and I have art and film and this music to thank for getting me through

Lyrics: This is the hardest part When you feel like you're fading All that you have has become unreal Collapsing, and aching All I want, all I want is right here But love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) Love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) I know that you think of me when you're Beside her, inside her It must be so hard for you to Deny it and hide it All I want, all I want is right here But love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) Love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore (Love don't live...) But love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) Love don't live here anymore (Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore) Love don't live here anymore

Has "inside her" a sexual connotation? I hope no! Maybe yes, but it would be very explicit. What do you think about this part? Thanxs

I know that you think of me when your're Beside her, inside her It must be so hard for you to Deny it and hide it well, it's like this verse belongs to her ex talking to her heart, right? the rest of composition is Kerli the real person behind its lyrics. (her heart too?!)

This was the first song I heard from her back in 2009. She recently stated that when she sang this song, she was addressing it to all the people who had hurt her over the years, but at the same time, was finding strength in the singing of this song to not let it get her down. She is an awesome young woman who is quickly maturing into her own.

Life isn't easy. this is honestly one of my favorite songs of all time that let's me know that life is sometimes hard for example a loved one passes away. eventually after the first time experiencing the first hard thing of your life you realize that that's how the process of life is and then you know to be prepared for upcoming hard events that could happen in your future and how to handle them and also to know that we are not alone because everyone experiences these things especially people with PTSD like me.

It might not seem like it has anything to do with the song but it does. It's almost as though something happened to young Kerli that scarred her or made her lose faith in love that lasted for the rest of her life. Seeing her at the start, it's like seeing a typical old crone type character who has lived a hard life and lost faith in love over years but as she de-ages over the music video, you see that it is something that really did start long ago that made her become that jaded old lady who doesn't have faith in love anymore. Just my opinion.

Good god I remember this year when this came out. I remember sending Kerli a message on myspace I think, and we actually carried a conversation a few times about random things. Absolutely loved her music and still do. So many good memories linked to this song lol poor baby me.
