This is the Video I like to watch before heading out to play a round. I hope one day, with repetition, these movements will be ingrained, and come naturally. For now though, your clear explanation ( reminder ) of the down move sequence to compress the ball, is what I need heading out the door. Thanks --Mark

You are a very generous and good-hearted human being. All I can say is thanks so much for taking time out of your life to make these wonderful videos. This was an excellent lesson on compression. The part about the hips moving to the target while the upper body (left ear) stays in line over the ball is just brilliant!

Well. Kerrot excellent drill, let you know in couple days my progress. Thanks for helping me. Let see if you have a video and drill about tempo..... the way you teach is very simple and feel nice. Thanks.

love the explanation Kerrod, clear and concise. I just wonder why you demonstrate impact dragging the handle? I'd have thought impact through to release is the most important part of getting compression. Maybe my understanding is off. Loving your video series, keep em coming.

Cheers for this, I've been looking for "what is the best hybrid for a high handicapper?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Reyuhaffad Underlying Recognition - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to revealing an effortless golf swing technique minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.

The ball does not “squeeze “ off the turf. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about golf. It compresses off the club face. It is slightly down to level. In fact you can compress the ball more from a shallow swing arc. Watch Tiger of old he barely bruised the turf when he was swinging his best.

Compression! Who knew, right. Just kidding. That said, this is my struggle. Compressing the ball. I'm going to do these drills and hopefully I will figure out how to re-enter, Im pretty sure I'm whipping my hips around too fast causing me to get ahead or lift the club. I've no idea. I video my driving range practice each time so, we will find where I'm going south. Thanks again!

"The club would come down in front of my body...." Not much said about the rotation of the upper body. Isn't this the important component in getting the club into impact position with forward shaft lean? Rather than throwing the arms at it from the top without keeping the upper body moving?
