I watched this this morning when I had a lazy lie in and took it to the course this afternoon, playing twelve holes. The improvement in my ball striking was instant. I found myself hitting the ball like I used to. It’s funny how you can slip away from these swing thoughts without even realising it. Thanks so much for these excellent videos Kerrod. I’m really impressed by how clearly you present them and how much sense it all makes. Can’t wait to play tomorrow now! Good luck with your venture. I wish you every success.

As fine a video on the essentials of the swing as I've seen. Your breakdown of the recentering move and the club swinging underneath imprint like a Xerox copy. Love your knowledge of the game and your swing! Smoothest looking move of any instructor online. Quickly recapping the lesson like you do ensures an automatic retention. I have already used these moves in a golf round and THEY WORK! Do what the pros do. Your videos are probably the best online. Keep them coming!

I’ve taken this advice onto the coarse today & played some decent golf, I’ve always had problems with hanging back & never been able to take a divot, Today I’ve never once topped or thinned the ball which is a 1st for me, So I’m absolutely delighted the only problem I’ve got now is that I’m fading the ball a little more than usual specially with the driver. Don’t know if I’m missing a piece of the jigsaw on the above video??? But hey thanks again for the great advice 👍 Regards David from England

C’est si Bon to hear so good advices! There are some words wich sound so good like « covering the ball »… I’m struggling with french pros from French school who can’t understand that lead shoulder must not be too up or at the opposite too flat at the impact. And I don’t speak about their fixation to load a max on the trail foot with a retroversion of the pelvis at the the top of the BS wich occurs pain on the right hip and low back! By the way, I believe that average golfers should shorten the BS. This slight and short translation is the real key for a delicious compression and for a good rythm at the DS as well. Following you from a while now I’d like to have lessons online cause you show what the top players do that can be done by weekenders. So great! So smart ! So realistic!

One of the most helpful videos on ball striking I have ever come across. A classic that puts you in high esteem when it comes to golf instruction. Not only answers to what but how and why- key criterion for assessing golf instructors and really listening to what they have to say. Wheat is separated from the chaff in this way when it coms to golf instructors with so much BS on line these days. Thank you and well done.

Wow, I really needed this video a year ago when I started working hard on my game again. After watching a video of my swing (another thing I should have been doing a long time ago!), some of the key points in this video became apparent to me, most notably keeping my arms fully extended during the backswing and down through impact. It occurred to me that the slight folding of my arms (as KG describes it) is causing my swing to bottom out early, resulting in thinned shots. The feeling of real ball compression during impact when I actually do these things correctly is so satisfying!
