I have played cricket against Indian teams here in Melbourne, they racially villify Australians all the time in hindi and laugh about it. I know this as one of our players married an Indian woman and speaks hindi fluently having spent 5 years in India. You guys are as bad as Australians, no difference tbh.

agreed! we didn’t show fight when we needed too. at the gabba, we made 360 odd, india 170/6 and they end up making 330! our heads were in the wrong space. we focused on sledging more than the game itself.

I hope to go to Australia some day to a Boxing day or New year test and I will be looking forward to a great experience and hopefully it will be that way. The funny thing is that even though the world is more mixed/globalized today than ever before, yet it has become overly sensitive about things. As long as there is no obvious intention to ridicule anyone, we should be okay with it rather than sitting with a microscope waiting to point fingers. 2. As Indians, most of us are more divisive and racist with our own people back home so shouldn’t we look into the mirror before lecturing anyone else? According to what rahane said later, racist sledges were even thrown to bumrah. The main issue is what's the mamatch referee doing. Is he only there to take rest in a chair? Or he has nothing to do, unless the umpires inform him. Can't he ask the umpire first, or is that simply not allowed Rahane later went on to say that one of the umpires said him " go to the dressing room and take rest, if you have problems ". Really? Had india left the field in the middle of the match, would cricket australia have really liked it? No For when ever india goes, anywhere in the world, australia or elsewhere, they are the biggest money generators. Both in terms of unmatchable crowd support at the venue or viewership on tv.
