DDDDDDYYYYYAAAAAMMMM🔥! Kerry, your acoustic guitar playing is of the chain awesome! Especially the dynamic strumming pattern rhythms you used. You need to do more acoustic tutorial lessons. I hope you do them bmore often because this one was excellent. And, I don't even like Rihanna's music or her as an artist, but this right there, your playing, was straight fire🔥. Great vid. Thank you and stay blessed. Shalom

My 'mindset checklist': - steady tempo.. in those situations with a singer you (and you only) offer both the rhythmic basement and harmonic background. - know your songs and listen what the singer is doing, support her/him. Fill the pockets when needed but don't step on her/his toes.

How do you find the rhythm of the song? Like what kinda strumming would be good for the song

Thanks for this lesson, I normally play acoustic in church on solo performances and I struggle a bit with slow tempo songs that are very atmospheric, is there a way to make that sort of situation work with the acoustic, I'd really appreciate the help

It's the same concept even though it's slow you still wanna work on the dynamics sometimes it's patting the cord. Sometimes it's a rhythmic thing you can do on the cords.

@@Kerry2smooth not sure what you mean by patting the chords but I'll give it a shot, thanks again I appreciate the work you're doing on this channel
