The three kings islands out off the top of New Zealand is a special place, Rugged and remote they are only accessible when the weather is perfect. It is also a place where everything grows massive in the nutrient rich currents that deliver crystal clean waters to the islands. Myself, Sam from ‪@OXSTV‬ and Luke from ‪@AquaticRehabSpearfishing‬ made the journey up there when a perfect weather window opened up and made the most of the amazing diving that is on offer....

Great footage! However seeing this place looking so inviting worries me that it gives people the perception it's a safe place to go in a small boat! Over the last decade I've seen more and more smaller boats making the voyage up there and even passed a jet ski up there few years back. This is a great concern and although very cool you guys had clearly scored it on an exceptional window... Showing footage like this to the masses may incourage keen people to think the place is safely accessable in crafts less desired to be in such an area when it turns, even in the slightest. If you're up there in a small boat and had it like you did, good planning and your lucky... but be careful you don't elude the keen viewers it's a place for everyone to take their little boats to. ✌️

It's already a well known spot with plenty of people going up when the weather allows, and that is the thing that protects it - the weather. If it wasn't so isolated every man and his dog would be there all the time regardless of any videos promoting it...Thats my thoughts anyway...Cheers!!!

This is typical macho ego "look at me" bs that does nothing do advocate for how we as humans manage our behavior in marine environments. No real fault of the guys who made this trash, they were likely brought up thinking bigger is better and taken to those egocentric fishing comps by their fathers. It is a NZ thing, this is not cool anymore. #herovideofail #thenonkaitiaki
