Kershaw Natrix, Flythrough & Fringe, Ball Bearings under $50!!

After watching your review, I couldn't decide between the Flythrough and the Fringe. So I ordered both to add to my growing Kershaw collection.

I almost pulled the trigger when the Natrix came out, but the deal breaker was it wasn't made in North America. So I opted to save my nickels and dimes and got the ZT0770CF with S35VN. I do like the looks of their other versions of the Natrix, I think it's the one with the copper that has a good steel and it's made in North America. Thanks for the video Ben, ATB from Canada

You might check out the Bareknuckle Sub-Frame Lock 7777 when it drops. USA made, 14c28n stainless and KVT pivot. The Copper & D2 is, sadly, not made in the USA.

I'm a very simple guy. I've always carried a Leek until it got taken away at at a bar and they somehow "lost" it. Now I just carry a Walmart $4 ozark trail. Thanks. Right after the video I started shopping for a new Kershaw. Those Walmart specials are good beaters but I need me something lighter and less bulky.

I would recommend the Ka-Bar Dozier as the best budget beater knife out there. Very light at under 3oz, slim profile, lock back design to give it strength and great ergonomics for comfort. They sell pretty consistently between $18 & $22.

Releasing most of their new models with KVT vs SSA is a great move IMO. The Atmos and Method are also excellent designs and great bang for the buck. My Method has been carried over the last couple of months and I have been pleasantly surprised with the performance. Great video, keep up the good work.

Great video, thanks! Great info, great points, no ass dragging. Keep it up! Kinda like the Fringe. I've got a Link in red I like alot- after I grip taped that slick aluminum handle. Black wash blade is a beauty, love the weight. Have had a Shallot in black for awhile. Feared it would be a little big but it's a dream! Super Slicey! I am a compulsive Scallion and Leek purchaser. Am on the hunt for a Black Random Leek Serrated at present. Shy about wading in on the Launch Series til the lockup fail percentages fall. But I was given a 1320 that I'm constantly suprised at my love for so am shopping the Asian Kershaws and finding more suprises. Didnt know about ZT & Kershaw... Will check more of your vids. Thanx again!

3 very cool looking blades. Kershaw really put out some great designs. I just wish they would change up some of the colors more. or handle materials. I wish they had a mid range Natrix in a better steel. I would go for the Natrix.

I just ordered the new natrix kvt in carbon fiber from Amazon for $45 and change. It has a 5 star review from 5 people, so we'll see how I like it.

I owned the blacked out version of the Natrix that you have there, but it was definitely assisted, so it was probably an older one then. I lean towards manuals at this point over assisted, so I ended up selling it. Refuse to carry a blade that doesn't offer tip up carry, so the last one is out. I may check out the Flythrough though, it looked very sleek and I like the pivot.

What are the pros and cons of tip up versus tip down? I couldn't EDC these in the UK because they lock but I'm interested to learn more.

@@71simonforrester In my experience, it is almost entirely a preference thing. If you carry it tip up, then you can pull the knife out your pocket and begin to use it without changing your grip on the handle. If you have it tip down, you need to flip the knife around in your hand in order to open and begin to use it. I guess for "tactical" or self-defense purposes, it would actually be very useful. For regular carry purposes though, it just saves a couple seconds and keeps from having to adjust the grip. So, mostly preference. 🤘

I like my natrix but I have the speed safe on it and don't like the spring tension on it for closing. The black would be awesome though
