Thats you . I know what a whistle is and I can whistle myself ( up to F7) This is just a really high falsetto. g#6 is not impossible to hit in Falsetto. Christina and Mia Z can hit A6 Just because it's high ,doesnt make it a whistle. Please educate yourself before acting like you know what you're talking about .lmao This is just basically a squeezed thin high note produced from air (falsetto). Hitting G#6 with whistle is not hard at all, and it wouldn't sound this high because whistle tones already have a higher placement than falsetto. It would be a lot more effortless.

@@hyun808 here's the thing. Only certain singers can hit falsetto that way. Addie can only hit an f6 falsetto. I'm a musician and am completely trained in this. What she hit wasn't a falsetto. Her voice couldn't handle it. It's her highest register, whistle register.

I hope you have listened to the original by now. I may be a little biased in this, but I think kesha for sure sang it better, and with a lot more emotion since it was about her personal struggles. I also think it's a little rude that you said it sounds like the song could have been hers. Listen to the original by Kesha. It's about how her former manager/boss (whatever you wanna call that POS) who took advantage of her and quite possibley sexually assaulted her. When Kesha sings it, you feel it because it is raw and true to her life (and #metoo). This girl has an awesome voice: there is rarely anything like originals though.

It's actually not a whistle note lol . It's not even a clean falsetto ( if you wanna listen to clean falsettos that almost sounds like whistles.. look up "amazane" channel or Mia Z from the voice ) The high note here is just a dense and strained sounding falsetto :/ Hitting g6 in whistle isn't even hard . It's easy in whistle register but sounds more Birdy and effortless and not dense ,thick & hard like falsetto . My Max whistle is d7. 4 notes above g6

@@hyun808 you have to understand this video also went through it's process of editing. And trust me, I can hit a g8 which it's hard to do for a lyric mezzo. This isn't strained because Addie knew when to switch registers. Just like she does live. She has to switch because the weakest register of her voice is falsetto, therefore making her notes not supported by anything. When in whistle register, she can support such note and do runs too.
