It's just a PA monitor speaker stand. Got them on Amazon about 60 bucks

Hey there 👋🏼 Great video as always! I am currently considering to purchase the Kessler Cineshooter+ and I was wondering if there is any syncing needed to match the frame rate of the camera with that of your tv panel? Do you use genlock or something similar?

And how much would you say does the quality of the used tv matter? We are considering the Bravia 9 from in its 83” version. Our thinking behind that is that its maximum brightness would help when it has to compete with our studio lights? Or do you think any tv would do and we should rather save some money there and get an even bigger screen instead? The Bravia is also no OLED but it’s local dimming brings it quite close to OLED especially when out of focus

@ez8937 I am using some samsun 86 inch tvs. They are only about 1500 and not the best specs but they work. So far I haven't had the need to use Genlock, but I'm only filming 30fps for the most part, and no high speed moves just realtime and stop.motion

@@BiolapseStudios Interesting! And to wich frame rate do you set the tv? I remember that you said that they are set to 720p resolution wise but for they also refresh at 30fps or higher? You are such a great resource for small scale virtual production, I really struggle to find much content with real sample footage. The jittery motion is from your worn out belt you said? So the Kessler Cineshooter itself is stable? I ask because our clients are super picky about smooth motion 😁

Its my rail. The belt is pretty worn i was noticing that yesterday, i think that is the cause.

Great overview! You said Second Shooter Pro will connect with Unreal through kOS, is that possible without CineShooter, just a 3 axis SSPro setup?

Yea it is! Everything works the same you just use the SSPro. If you want more axis you can even add another SSPro and control 6 axis.

@@BiolapseStudios oh awesome! I already have a SS and SS+ and kOS Premium, so just adding a single controller would be a lot more affordable than an entire Cineshooter setup. Thanks!

@natelett for sure. Hey also, there is something really awesome happening at Kessler. They have started to retrofit Cinedrive systems with the cineshooter+. I have one, they are still working out some bugs but it is amazing. I have seen a cinedrive pantilt sitting at adorama for 800 bucks. These used to sell new for 15k. The hardware is excellent. It is missing the brains, but they are not needed. For $1400 they will retrofit it to run with the new 5x control module, this is literally the brains of a cineshooter. So about $700 less than a cineshooter plus you can get a cinedrive pan tilt that does the exact same stuff, but with incredible high quality mechanics.

@@BiolapseStudios oh that is fantastic! We have a 6 axis CineDrive setup at my day job, I'll definitely reach out to Kessler and ask about that! I was hoping they'd have a program like that.
