Ketamine was and is huge on the rave scene medical doctors belittle the rave scene wich is more like a bunch of local scenes more accurately and it's been found to be extremely beneficial in many ways and I would not say it's addictive I'd say it can be habit forming but it's not a hard drug to stop it's just people enjoy it and it's helpful so that's more the issue and people less bigotry towards drug usage

Having a potential for addiction doesn't mean that everyone, or even a majority, run into problems with it. Alcohol is potentially addictive, but most drinkers don't develop problem drinking.

I have had ketamine in a hospital and also in a house. I really don't understand why people take it in clubs and can't really grasp how it would help mental health. It seems they're repurposing many drugs for mental health but I'm sceptical of the big pharma real motivations for pushing these things. Made me very nauseous. It's all about big bucks.

Right now the big pushers of ketamine aren't major pharmaceutical companies but rather clinics that are administering the drugs, and raking in big bucks while looking for ways to grow their market.

I'm Autistic with ADHD and some of the symptoms I experience can make social environments incredibly overwhelming, but if I take a VERY low dose of Ketamine then I notice a substantial calming of the sensory overload I would normally experience aswell a warm wave of happiness for hours after taking it, aswell as some mild empathogenic-like effects. Obviously higher doses will cause disassociation and hallucinations but I don't tend to go higher anymore on the rare occasions that I do still take it.
