Hi guys I have some questions about post processing of g codes, which you posted in video it contains y axis movements, is it your turn mill machine has y axis? . I'm trying to post some programs to my machine but it's also giving me like codes which contains y axis movement but my machine has only x and z axis with live tooling.how it's going to workout?

Good Video. Is it possible to show the cnc machine (Spindle&Tool+Rotary+Tail Support) while in the simulation? I would like to see everything moving to confirm that no collisions occur. Best Matt

Hi! There isn't a way as of right now to have machine simulation inside of Fusion 360. That is however on the product road map and we hope to see it implemented sometime in the near future. Thanks for tuning in! -Alex Alvarez

It might be fun to try bringing your gcode into GrblGru and see if you can find a machine in his library that is close to what you have and if you can get it to simulate everything.

do i need machine extensions for f360 just to use 4th axis for rotating parts and being able to say mill multiple sides of a part without manually flipping it?

How do you machine a 3D object like a toy car, on the A-axis using A rotation?

Hi Jacob, It depends on what you're looking for. For positional you would just follow the same steps as in the video, for simultaneous it would get a bit more difficult. You'd want to turn on Fusion 360's Beta mode and use the swarf toolpath with the option to lock one of the axis. What about true 4 axis contouring that isnt wrapped around a cylinder?

Hi Jordan, Would you mind sending me an email at [e-mail], I can take a look at one of your examples if you'd like. If i'm understanding your question correctly, Fusion has the abiltity to use the swarf toolpath while locking 1 of the machines axis. Beta mode has to be turned on for this though, we covered how to do that in the 3+2 and Simultaneous 5 axis machining webinar. -Alex Alvarez

47 minutes and no explanation how you guys setup the actual thing in the beginning. My f360 won't do that right away, you skipped the most important type basically. A-axis setup in software.
