In this episode, we delve into the powerful connection between the ketogenic diet, supplements, and their role in healing sick mitochondria, as well as their potential to treat Parkinson's disease. As mentioned in the previous video, mitochondria are often referred to as the "powerhouse of the cell", responsible for producing energy. However, when these vital organelles become dysfunctional, it can lead to a range of health issues, including Parkinson's disease.
The ketogenic diet, known for its low-carbohydrate, high-fat approach, has shown promise in supporting mitochondrial health. By reducing the reliance on glucose for energy and switching to ketones (increased ketosis), which are produced from fats, this diet may help to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, both of which can contribute to mitochondrial dysfunction. Furthermore, certain supplements have been identified as potential allies in the quest for mitochondrial health.
Join us as we explore the science behind the keto diet, supplements, and their potential to heal sick mitochondria and offer hope for those living with Parkinson's disease. Subscribe to our channel for more in-depth discussions on health, wellness, and cutting-edge research.

That’s absolutely true. Reduction of stress internally and externally, as hard as that is in practice, is so important

@harshiicostumes7641 there is to way to accurately predict a lifespan even without Parkinson’s. What I can tell you is that I personally know individuals who have Ben diagnosed as young as 29 years old and are still loving active lives with families. It is realistic to expect to live 20-30 years or more after diagnosis. Some have gone even longer. Watch this video so you can hear from some of them: Is Parkinson's Disease FATAL? - PD Myth Bust #3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2i7aqusj5yUo7s

I am so sorry to hear that. 10 years is not very long at all. She was only 30 years old at diagnosis?! And they gave her no medication? Wow

@harshiicostumes7641 ah yes, familiar tremors are a different matter. It depends, Ayurveda would involve more herbal remedies I imagine. Some herbal remedies are good to incorporate into treatment, for example turmeric to improve inflammation and mucuna pruriens to enhance natural dopamine. That said, western medicine provides synthetic forms of dopamine and also medications to prevent loss of available dopamine in the brain. It is always good to balance natural remedies, medications, and lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, etc) as much as possible
