Thank you for the explanations. I've started with some 30min hiits workout with kettle that I found on yt, it was great but as a beginner I didnt want to do hiits, I wanted to have some simple exercises to practice at my own pace. Your videos help a lot and I like that you explain everything clearly with demonstration and the video about the exercise to NOT do was also very helpful.

Kettle bell sport is like the street luge of physical fitness. It looks like an extreme sport in some ways. It's not a typical thing in my opinion like most weight lifting styles. I think that's what drives people to it. It looks so unusual and when you see the results it can give you it blows your mind.

Greetings, Gregori. first of all . Thank you for such good material that so much inspires progress when training every day. I find it appropriate to suggest that you mention power breathe instead of cocaine breathe. when you refer to the sports aspiration that is so important to master when we exercise with rhythm and for long periods of time. Perhaps some follower of this channel may have had serious addiction problems in his past and it is not necessary for such a beautiful sports space to transfer that person to a less fortunate scenario.

Just started my Kettlebell journey yesterday with your 30 day course! Let’s goo. I’m worried I’m arching my back during the dead lift. How to correct this? What do you mean keep core engaged and how to move your back as whole without arching. I’m worrrie I’ll get a lower back injury

I kinda have to wear gloves because the calluses build-up - but I get your point.

Gloves increase the thickness of the handle of the kettlebell. Master technique to avoid excessive/ bloody calluses. - Gregory

In Pavel's Simple and Sinister, he recommended to file down calluses and keep your hands moisturized to prevent tears

Had actually done a bit of kettlebell training as part of the Army’s physical fitness program though it is rather tame and inflexible.

Man, could you please try Power Legs from Insanity The Asylum Volume 2 with kettlebell? Shaun T uses a dumbbell, but it can be replace easily with kettlebell

i find wristguards are useful for kettlebell sport because of the sheer quantity of reps. often you have to save energy and not cushion the bell lightly so it doesnt tire you out

Jus a simple question after training for few months with kettlebell.of any individual has done few reps like cleans and jerk and he is tired but he loses tension in the name of efficiency won't the weight tranfer be inefficient through our body while resting in it which could lead to bad posture , technique and health overall?🙏

Efficient form/technique must be learned. It’s not something that happens when you’re tired. - Gregory

step 1: thou shalt not drop kettle bell on thy big toe or one will feel the pain of a billion atomic bombs explode throughout one's foot.

I personally disagree on the whole idea of one bell being superior than the other. It's like comparing a screwdriver to a wrench. The cast iron style from what I was told by an rkc instructor was made for the special forces originally for spetznaz physical preparedness testing. The coating for example is key if you are doing outdoor activities if it's raining or wet outside chalk isn't really an option. The shape of the bell was designed to have its center of mass on the bottom which is supposed to give your hamstrings more explosive power when you jump or kick, etc. Hard style was originally made to handle emergency type situations that's why the breathing movements are snappy, and the grind movements are slow because it mimics a set of combat environment movements. When something jumps out at you, or falls towards you, etc your body will be prepared. Kettlebell sport bells are made for competition. That being said, you can do literally almost the same stuff with both. I think both can be used with any style. But if you are doing military training, hardstyle would be your best bet. If you are going into crossfit or kettlebell sport competition would suit you better. If you are doing home fitness, you could do both. Both have benefits, strengths and weaknesses. I know joe daniels uses both. I talked to steve cotter about this. I've seen him use both in videos and photos, and you might as well if you are going to immerse yourself in that world. But if you are super on budget, just get a 16kg cast iron powdercoat from kettllebell kings or from rogue as a begginer. But that's my opinion. I could be wrong.

Cast iron kettlebells were an invention from Pavel & John Ducane. They intentionally used a different design. - Gregory

@@lebe-stark Wasn't cast iron the original material in the Soviet union. Then later in the 60s it was steel? Do you the cast iron design is pointless or do you think both bells have equal amount of pros and cons? Why should people choose comp vs cast iron? It seems the cast iron is pointless or obsolete.
