I must say, quite weird to see crossings without alarms at all. The crossing, thus, doesn't disturb the quiet and the fairly peaceful ambience here. Those freight trains were going very fast, and I will always recognize these Felixstowe intermodal ones. I wonder what kinds of wagons are they on the first freight, however. Great video.

Thanks! 👍👍 Can't say I know for sure what the first freight was hauling in those wagons, but this kind is used for trains with heavy amounts of freight (e.g. train 1).

It’s kinda weird seeing a crossing without any alarms when it has LEDs and barriers. Quality video regardless 👍

Yeah there aren't that many around. It's perfectly safe as the signaller has full control over the sequence, but nevertheless, it is odd. Thanks!

The real reason for there to be no alarms is because there are houses very close to the crossing. I found out by asking the signaller

There are houses really close to a lot of crossings, but electronic alarms can be made to be very quiet. It'd be better than no alarm, even if there is a signalman in full control of the crossing.
