I see my Ketu Mahadasha was the most stand out Dasha so far, because it was so intensely spiritual. I was a teenager into my early 20’s. Near death experience, kundalini rising. Astral travel, experiencing other realms of existence, so much Bliss. I became a meditation teacher, because I couldn’t do anything else (I didn’t necessarily want to teach, I wanted to meditate as much as possible to reach Moksha and feel complete). I had so many days extraordinary experiences. And the place I went to and felt perfect, I wanted to stay there forever- I knew it was my home - was Kauai. I stayed only 3 months. Ketu in the 12th.

My experience wasn’t all pleasant, it was extreme - deeply spiritual, but also very difficult and I found it hard to be on Earth and relate to mist people, as my experience of life was so removed from what is considered normal. I had my ketu Dasha at age 19 to 26 years old. I’m just coming up out of it now. It’s been a 7yr period. It was such an overwhelming, intense & strong energy that really brought me to the lowest depths of myself whilst still having to continue life. It generally feels like coming out of a very dark spiritual coma. But I’ve learned so much, and I’ve learnt not to prioritize man-made things/ materialism. It’s has definitely been a deep spiritual humbling evolution for me - due to the things I went through due that period. That naïve bubble I was in definitely burst lol. I feel so grounded now. I’ve definitely changed as a person and learnt so much about myself and people, places and things around me. Definitely a rough period in life though. Learning endurance was definitely necessary during the process. But for me, discovering how to open and cleanse all 12 charka daily - definitely helped during that whole process and now it’s an ongoing practice for me. Went through this Mahadasha right after college (23), as I was becoming an officer in the military. This was 12th house Taurus. Needless to say, my career fell apart, my pride fell apart, My finances fell apart, My relationships fell apart, health was trash. I tried ending my life. But now, I’m finally entering my Venus Mahadasa (started October 2022); already, my finances have been given back to me. So much so I don’t need a career because I’ve been able to retire myself through 100% disability from the VA. Rishikesh hi. Well, Ketu is an utter death of self, and there is death and rebirth sometimes daily within it. The more we let go and surrender to it the “easier” it can be to say, I don’t know anything anymore. I’ve died 1000 times, and this is different. Initially there was a huge separation and rift with my biological family my mother was thrown out of the house by my brother ands wife, then I got divorce I was thrown out of the house, then this brother also passed away and we don't have a house of our own (my mother or I) I have been jobless throughout and even now, I am struggling, there's no work, I am scared and alone, don't like anyone or anything anymore, and my health was bad too.. its a terrible time, only 0.01% people cam say they have decent Ketu Dahsa rest whoever events astrologer who says Ketu dasha will be good etc is lying...

I have Rahu in 4th house (in birth chart) and running Ketu Mahadasha and Rahu Antardasha started few days back. Whereas in transit Rahu would be coming in his 7th house soon. s s Hi you need to look actually from both because there is a different perspective but they are both still relevant. Have a check of my readings for the nodes byhouse from your moon and ascendant and you will see which is stronger for your individual chart. But generally speaking if you have accurate time of birth and accurate Lagana read ascendant as priority.
