Your Referring to drinks that has froth packs that come with them. Gevalia cappuccino pods come with powder milk froth thats step one and the k-cups that are step two. Another type is a green mountain k-cup that has froth in a pod and a k-cup with the grounds.

How can you change strength when using a carafe? It plows through so fast(faster than even the normal cup) so it's extremely weak/not worth it. Which was frustrating because that was the main reason I picked this model

I can change the strength by cup, just not the carafe. The only carafe setting i can change seems to be 2-3 cups, 3-4 cups, or 5-6 cups. No strength option. But no matter what I choose it comes out super fast. Faster than any other 1 cup

You are make cappuccinos as long as you can find the single K Cup expresso shots.

I picked my 2.0 450 up at a thrift store.. for get this $9.99!!! I brought it home cleaned out the needle and gave it a good bath and it’s worked perfectly.. I didn’t know about the cappuccino setting until just now thanks for the info (as mine didn’t come with a manual I have been searching all around for info on this machine and what it does) my only issue with my machine is I was told the refillable carafe pods were the best... I like STRONG coffee and I dont get strong coffee at all from the carafe. I have been using instant coffee in the bottom of the carafe along with the coffee in the pod to substitute the lack of strength. I was wondering if I spent the money on the carafe pods if they brew strong or not? Does it just have more coffee or is there the strong button that comes up on the menu? Just curious.. thank you again for the video!!

There is no setting that you change for iced drinks... You can make a stronger brew... Bit to do iced drinks.... You just put a cup full of ice underneath... And you'll want the cup to be bigger then the amount of liquid you are going to drink.

Stainless carafe i fill with hot water let it sit 15-20 min ( kinda preheats carafe) holds hot coffee about 4 hours so long enough for me. Its empty before that. Actually strong is water flows thru cup slower rate to strenghen coffee.

the karaf is pretty poorly engineered. it is not insulated, coffee gets cold as fast as if it was in a cup. is there a fix for it yet? like a upgrade kit?

In your video you said to make stronger coffee it would use hotter water, this isn't correct at all. To make stronger coffee you use the same amount of ground coffee just with less water, the more water you run through the coffee grounds the weaker it becomes. The temperature has nothing to do with the strength.

BAHAHAAA CRAFT LMAO ..sorry Carafe kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3akk5SooZ6eb7c ......AND I don't know about a magnet but the circle on the left side of the Kcup LID is read by the little screen/camera on the top left of the Keurig if you put your finger in there you can feel it.....the piece in the front moves just to accommodate the size of the kCup I use to hack it by cutting that circle off the lid and using electrical tape to tape it over the "camera" or whatever it is ..sensor? and it will pull up the carafe settings

Dude your way too involved wit buying keurig pods, for one they are way too expensive and the coffee maker is a pain in the ass to clean every six months. I've got one used it a couple of times but I leave it for the wife and I use my 30 year old perculator
