OMG! I just cleaned mine and how gross was that! I had no idea you could take that apart to clean it. The build-up in there was unreal! Thank you for your video! I was about to go buy a new coffee maker cause it would drip for about 5 minutes after brewing a cup. And I was getting about 1/4 cup less in my coffee cup than normal. Thanks again!

My 2.0 was dripping and dripping after brewing and after watching your video, I tried your fix and sure enough, the culprit was backed up grounds in the "shovel" portion of the k-cup holder. Easily one of the most useful KZbin videos I've watched. Such a simple solution, but something no one tells you, not even Keurig; well, no one but you! :) I contacted Keurig twice about this issue. First time they didn't even reply, second was the usual "descale; use the needle cleaning tool" etc. Nothing worked. I was so frustrated I was ready to throw out my machine and get a new one which I hated to do as it functioned perfectly aside from the dripping. I followed your instructions and yes indeed, there was a load of "gunk" in there! Cleaned everything thoroughly, and it's as if I have a new machine! I am so thankful to you for posting this!

Tried after viewing on iphone, but had to see it on big screen to see how to get the parts out. ANYthing I try to fix that is plastic usually gets broken, so good thing I waited and watched twice. This was an amazing tutorial! I was so close to ordering a new machine. I said there has to be a way to fix the dripping without replacing the entire machine. Since everyone is stuck in the house "social distancing" this is an ideal time to fix the Keurig! I can't express my gratitude enough!! THANK YOU!!!!! :)

Thank you so much! I was to the point of "oh crap, I need to convince my husband this thing is on the fritz and we need to buy a new one." We live out in the sticks and our water comes from our well, which is very, very, very hard water. We have a softener but it doesn't work half the time. Anyway, about a month ago when this thing was dripping and messing up, my husband said "it probably needs a good cleaning with vinegar." So, that's what I did.... I probably ran a gallon or so of vinegar through it one Saturday morning for about 3 hours, getting lime out of it. Thought that would solve the problem -- it helped, but it still dripped. And this morning I was greeted with coffee grounds in my coffee cup too. That's when I discovered your amazing video. I popped out that center piece and low and behold there was the "dam tray" filled to the top with I-don't-know-what! I had a thick dam of lime and coffee grounds. So, I guess my coffee was being "filtered" again through a lime wash. LOL It was gross! Got 'er all cleaned up and now she's a brand new machine. Coffee tastes like coffee again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! If I could mail you a thank you card, I would!

You are my hero!!! Seriously!!! I thought I had tried EVERYTHING to stop my Keurig 2.0 from dripping; I descaled it with vinegar, I tried the bulb accessory tool, and I used toothpicks in an attempt to clean the needles. Of course nothing worked, until I followed your instructions. Now my Keurig is working great and my coffee even tastes better. Thank you so much!

I have read thru most of these comments and my sentiments are EXACTLY the same. Thank you for this tip. I spent well over and hour researching my dripping issue that I have been living with for a good solid 2 months or more. I found one video that had a dripping issue, and they replaced a pump inside. I was just fixing to go through that tedious process when I decided to look one more time on dripping. I found your video and prayed it was my fix. And it was. I found the sludge and buildup, just like you said. Cleaned all the parts you mentioned well. I used Distilled vinegar as well as Soapy water to clean it up nice. Then used compressed air to blow down the needle point and dry off the components all nice and clean. Just made my first cup of coffee and not only did the coffee come out more steadily. It NO LONGER DRIPS... So thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.. My Keurig2.0 500 I have had for at least 5yrs maybe longer and it has never given me issues till this dripping.. But you saved the day.. God Bless and thanks again kind sir.

I came across your video and followed your steps, and boom! All fixed! My kiddos got hot chocolate kcups for Christmas and in the last few days we apparently collected a build up of the chocolate under that piece you showed with build up! I cleaned it out and it’s working perfectly again! Thank you SO much!!
