Litteraly played my original copy of Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on my OG ps2 and controller and it worked almost perfectly. But ps3 ? Jesus christ they are all fucked up beyond salvation. i also have a legit grave of ps4 controllers lol wich some are frankenstein monsters hybrids with other parts of broken controller lmaoooo. I even have two fucking ps5 controller with the up arrow not working for whatever reasons so i decided fuck it and roll with it.

Thank you for covering this. This series was so grossly underrated. A halo killer it wasn’t but it was entirely special in its own right, the co-op/competitive of the second game is still some of my favourite multiplayer to date. Ted Price is a bit of a shadow of his former ambitious self, a shame.

The lore vid I watched ages ago said that the Chimera we see are not the true or real Chimera but rather the previous alien race that the Chimera infected or manipulated. The person from lore vid said that the Chimera maybe an invading alien race that bolster its military by converting biologic creatures into soldier of their own. This was like a 2016-2019 days I watch this stuff

Basically is that the chimera sometimes kidnaps humans and assimilate them into the ranks, and in the PSP version, they even explain what happens to the female chimera. Not to mention that the main character brother in the game gets infected in slowly turns into a chimera only to be mercy killed by his brother.

The real problem comes with the fact that resistance is the middle child of insomniacs games. Compared to their success with R&C and Spider-Man, resistance is the middle child’s who’s only purpose was to compete with halo.

This is probably one of the first games I finished- I played through the campaign co-op with my dad and sister as I went through sending one out to die so the other can respawn with the next. One time we stayed up so late playing with my sister and dad that when my mom got home from work and we were supposed to be asleep he told us to run upstairs and act asleep so it looked like he was playing the game. Staple memory of my childhood. I was like 8.

Him having controller problems reminded me of more than just having stick drift. There was an Xbox 360 controller I found that had an auto fire mod built into it. Not only did it get some stick drift, but the b button was somehow broken so I couldn’t press it properly. The button was auto pressed because it wasn’t held up like it should, so I had to hold the controller upside down so that I don’t randomly lie on the ground while playing CoD.
