I noticed 😊27:33, Shane says "we need to keep Carl and Lori safe" when in your playthrough, Carl is already dead. Love that they marketed this game as being able to choose your own path and who lives or dies to change the outcome of the story but literally never scripted any dialog for "non-canon" options. Tbh this game isn't even funny bad to me like Kong or Golem, it's just sad bad. There's so many cool characters in the series and they reduced them all down to even say the same things when panicked, wrathful, and even when picking things up. The reason why the walking dead survived as long as it did and why it was as popular as it was, is because of its focus on characters rather than the obvious zombies, because the whole point of the show was that the real threat was other people, not the walkers, and the characters are what made the show what it was (at its peak, not to say it didn't fall off, I stopped seriously watching around the time Jesus was killed because the show lost itself). The fact they reduced everyone down to some basic "universal" lines of dialog that anyone says, and made the focus the combat, and reduced the high tension scenes that develop the story and move the characters along their arcs to basically a cheap slide show of posed models with terrible expressions, really shows how they don't know what the property is even about or what made it popular in the first place. And hey, if you're going to make the game combat driven, at least make the combat good.
