If my memory serves me well, the car physics wig out when you run the game at a higher framerate. I think there's a video from a speedrunner explaining this, I just can't remember who it was... Might have to get back to you on that. I'll see if I can find out who it was. Add-on: It was EZScape Speedruns, and cars drive faster at higher framerates. Might cause physics to bug out, but I'm not sure.

Yup, the game was meant to be run in 60FPS as it was a console game (PS2 and GCN) that got ported to PC.

yeah I've only played the console version and immediately seeing him speed up wile turning thought oh he's playing on PC with frames set to modern standards so many games from that era had physics linked to the frame rates. I remember testing a couple years ago black ops 1 zombies on moon you can send yourself super high up when jumping with really high unlocked frames

Great thing about that copy he’s making is he connected all parts of Springfield in one map instead of each map behind a level wall I hope it gets. Legit release cause I’d love it

​@sandertu8366 PC port doesn't have an fps limiter and like a lot of older games, fps affects physics. So you need to mod it or emulate to not have issues like Kev

@@noah1535 Oh. That is a relativly easy fix. Atleast if you have nvidia. Go into the control panel, 3D settings and find the global settings. In those settings find v-synch and force it on. Amd also has fps limits in its gpu tuning software

The PC version suffers from physics issues due to high framerate on modern systems. The Mod-Launcher comes with physics fixes that resolve the issue, even fixes some other graphical issues related to anti-aliasing among other things. So definatly worth launching through that, even when playing without mods, because getting flung around after a collision might make some later levels if not impossible, very frustrating.

If you can get a ps2 and find a copy of the warriors for ps2 then i think you especially will love the game. Its hard to describe exactly what type of game it is but it has killing, breaking stores, gang fights etc. its so much fun, its what actually got me into games like it down the line. Its a highly underrated game but a very fun one at that
