Curious how much the owners put into that remodel. Having recently acquired a couple properties, want to know how much it's going to kill my pocket book to get them to a position that they're worth something.

It’s tough to pinpoint an exact number, but a contractor we trust-who does excellent high-end work-estimates that people should expect to pay around $700 per square foot retail. In the past, we’ve heard ranges from $300 to $500 per square foot, but with rising costs, those numbers are shifting upward.

We don’t publish prices for several reasons-primarily because they can change, and most people can easily look them up online. Plus, there’s something intriguing about experiencing a home without knowing the cost upfront-like solving a mystery that adds an extra layer of engagement.
