Kevin’s death scene in Friday the 13th is iconic - so memorable even 43 years later. And as huge of a star as he’s become, I love that he’s never acted like he’s “above” talking about this film. I think most of his fans love that he was in it. Great guy. So down to earth and humble.

Let’s not revise history. He never bring it up himself. He talks about it only when someone else does.
@Nightflyer7203 ай бұрын
@@kenlau457 No one is revising anything. Friday the 13th is not something anyone would even EXPECT him to bring up much. The movie was a lifetime ago, at the dawn of his career, and his role in it was hardly the high point of his résumé. When he IS asked about it, he speaks kindly of it. That's enough.

Huh I wouldn't have thought Kevin Bacon would have acknowledged he was in slasher b-movies, genuinely when actors make it big in Hollywood they tend to be ashamed of having been in these types of films. Its nice to see he's so chill about it.

Nah he’s been pretty quiet about it, but hey, at least he’s starting to talk now. I can understand the thought process behind not wanting to discuss such films, but at the same time, embrace your roles and what comes with them… unless you’re Harrison Ford that is.

I was 17 and lived in a two-story house with NO LIGHT at the bottom of the stairs...you had to turn on the light at the TOP,. After seeing Friday 13th, I was FREAKED OUT by the scene with Kevin Bacon (although he was an unknown at that time). My boyfriend (now husband) took me home and no one was home, so I broke the cardinal sin of my boyfriend being in the house with parents gone and made him go up and turn on the light for me. I was so creeped out I didn't sleep until someone came home and even then, I couldn't sleep on my back for WEEKS after that. Kevin Bacon, you gave me psychological trauma for a long time!

It wasn’t Savini that had to blow into the tube; it was his assistant that had to improvise after the hose came off the pump (Savini was also involved in the scene though). That’s why Bacon doesn’t remember the name of the person who operated the tube after the failure.

@@lukeschroter9389 I don’t think a new movie is necessary because there is a con going on by me this weekend and there are some F13 stars present. Kevin Bacon is a fine actor - generally underrated. Among the actors of his generation, he became the only star. (At the time Betsy Palmer was the only star.) I suspect that as a serious actor he was slightly ashamed of being associated with the movie. That's probably why he never joined the reunions.
