I remember when the Bonnie and Clyde movie from 1967 came out, my grandmother was so mad at how Hollywood glamorized, Bonnie and Clyde. She was alive during their days of terror and she let me know exactly how horrible they really were. That is something I will never forget from my grandmother.

I beg to differ Mr. Director. It was absolutely necessary to set the record straight about Frank Hamer.

I sure was. Sadly many people get their history from movies.

It blows my mind that Kevin Costner - who played Jim Garrison in the JFK movie - acts with Harrelson, who is the real life son of someone, who could be the guy behind the gun in Dallas back in 1963. (Wiki is your friend)

It cracks me up how these hollywood celebs schmooze up to each other in interviews and then proceed to pull the wool over the publics head with hokum & misinformation. The screenplay has yet been written that captures the B&C legacy with accuracy and semblance of reality. But hey. If the movie makes money that's the really important thing. Right?
