Yup, the Nets could make some noise if Kyrie can perform, and who knows if KD comes back. Giannis and the bucks will be looking to get into the finals after last season, and we all know how hard Giannis has been working to improve that jumper. The Raps, defending champions, could make another incredible run and win if they keep Kawhi. Although Kawhi has been linked with LA, which would make an incredible team of LeBron, AD, and Kawhi, all g with a good young guy like kuz. The warriors always are a threat so long as Steph keeps being Steph. The Jazz look incredible, with Conley, Mitchell,Ingles,Bogdonavic,and Gobert. Lastly, the 6ixers, they look as if they will be able to keep their stars. And let's not forget that they only left the playoffs thanks to Kawhi becoming Russian for a game and cold-heartedly killing them off. Who knows?

Realistically speaking this isn’t that big a deal no hate meant but if we’re being honest this team doesn’t do anything next year, we’re not looking for this team to be any good until 2021. That that’s gonna be a whole extra year of regression for DJ who already isn’t a major upgrade over Allen. Then we have Kyrie who isn’t a major major upgrade over DLo. Let’s me be really honest here. Yes Kyrie will be more efficient and yes he will likely sell more tickets but what else will be do? He won’t give you amazing defense he won’t really get others involved it’s just not a huge upgrade over DLo. Yes he’s a better player than DLo no doubt but he’s not gonna boost this team to anything great. He’ll add maybe 4-5 wins but that’s not gonna get the Nets a ring. The key here is KD and he’s a HUGE wild card. Yes we want him healthy and ready to play but realistically that’s not gonna happen especially in his first year back. Studies show that when players come back from an Achilles injury that first year back they play terrible (granted KDs terrible is probably still more than you would get from an average SF but will it be enough to get a ring?). So in all honesty this doesn’t really take affect until 2022. Which by then DJ isn’t gonna be a top center in the league (hell is he even a top center now?) and by then 2 whole years have passed. And with Kyrie’s history we can’t even be sure if he’ll be healthy in 2 years. Imo this move is being overrated to an extreme degree. Admittedly this team can be very good BUT that’s only the case is everything and I mean EVERYTHING goes right them.
