Max Durk Look, there are reasons Durant is not going to duplicate the things Jordan did out on the court and it's because they have completely different body types and play styles, Durant has a long 6'11 frame with a 7'4 wingspan while only weighing 220 pounds while Jordan was 6'6 and 220 lbs. with a more muscular frame. Durant likes to handle the ball in different ways as well, and he also moves in a far different way from Jordan. And another thing you started this argument after misunderstanding what Stephen A. said, at least that is how it appears, Stephen A. Smith never said Durant is a better scorer than Michael Jordan he said he has the potential to be a better scorer than Jordan. But while it is true Durant doesn't play in as physical of a game as Jordan once did it most likely wouldn't make a difference. Because if I can remember correctly I don't remember their being any lock down perimeter defenders other than Scottie Pippen that had the length and size to match up with Durant 1 on 1. And even if the small defenders decided to hand check Durant it seems like that wouldn't matter much either because in Durant's 7 year tenure in the NBA he has proven to be a good finisher through traffic and a good jump shooter when a defender is crowding him. So do I think Durant is currently a better scorer than Michael Jordan, not by any means, but do I think that Durant has the potential to become a better scorer than Jordan in the end I absolutely do.
