Kevin Durant is the best player ever. There is nobody that can match his scoring efficiency in NBA history who shoots the range he shoots. The man is a walking 50/40/90 when it comes to field goal, 3 point, and free throw percentage. Combine that with his basketball IQ, his defense, shot blocking ability, ability to literally score from anywhere on the court, and the fact he’s 7 feet tall!! This man is an anomaly. Who ever came back from an injury as devastating as his and still was able to play at the level Durant does? It’s like he never left the court.

The people saying Lebron and KD wasn’t a rivalry obviously don’t remember when KD won MVP over prime Lebron. That year the Okc vs the Heat games were intense. There’s a viral sequence where a Lebron and KD go back and forth scoring against each other. Go back even further and there’s a video on KZbin of Lebron and KD going at each other during the lockout. Both guys dropped over 40 points. It’s always been a rivalry, Lebron just had a better team for most of his career.

There was never a rivalry but they are the top 2 players of the decade. No disrespect to KD but Lebron's on another level. KD has always been the better scorer (possibly the deadliest scorer we've ever seen but that's a diff debate) and is a good defender. Now, LBJ can turn on the switch any time. If he likes to be MJ ( i mean scoring) he can. But he's more of a team player that's what separates him. His IQ, Speed, Power and athleticism is unmatched. He's a combination of MJ and Magic.When it comes to rivalry, the narrative has always been LeBron vs another team. Both can carry a franchise. Both have huge impacts on a team. Also lets keep it real, KD had to worry about double and triple teams his entire career until he went to GSW. When they played in the finals it was about as even as it could be. KD mopped the floor with LBJ so bad in the first series he didn't want to guard him the following year. When KD is healthy and has space, he might be the best scorer to ever live. MJ though was by far the best player of all time. Bron formed a super team in Miami just to get to the finals where he loses 66% of the time. At least KD made it to the finals before his free agency. He also didn't require other all-stars to join him before signing, like LeBron did with Bosh and then again later when he made The Cavs trade for K-Love.
