The biggest things I wished were different were we got to see more of Peter and Harry's friendship, they kept the deleted scenes that fleshed out Max's character before turning into Electro, and I honestly wouldn't have minded the deleted scene at the end of Richard Parker. Honestly, I think a lot of the criticism of the film is overblown. To me, Rhino usually feels like a joke villain, so I liked the corny and over the top performance, the multiple storylines didn't bug me, I felt Peter being haunted by Captain Stacey was a great way to show his past mistakes still haunt him, and it really beautifully captured how the life of Peter Parker is messy and complicated yet he always chooses to do more and be better

Me personally TASM 2 is one of my favorite movies of all time I personally like the idea of Richard’s arc it made both made his and Peter’s story arc more interesting that’s what actually made me like the love the movie especially the darker Secrets of Oscorp and it’s corruption, and Almost every one of the deleted scenes should’ve been in the movie

He wasn't joking around in TASM 2, and I've found the actual reason of his different behavior, it's the difference between the energy in Webb-verse and MCU, in Webb-verse Electro absorbed the energy and said "I got so much anger" and that's because of the energy he absorbed, but in NWH he absorbed the MCU energy and said "The energy, It's different, I like it" and that's why his cooler and funny like Jamie himself, btw he's not the same character anymore, Now he's a variant of TASM 2 Electro in a another timeline where he's alive

It's one of my top Spider-Man films regardless. I of course understand its flaws, and agree with his points - but I just genuinely enjoy it more than most of the other films. I loved Electro. Best Swing Sequences in the Live Action Films. The Goblin Clocktower Fight was brilliant - vicious & tense. Gwen and Peter is still my favorite romance in Live Action Marvel so far. Spider-Man quips are fun and plentiful (even if oddly timed during the chase at the beginning).

I actually enjoyed TASM 2 as a guilty pleasure and this is coming from someone who hates TASM 1 (I get why people like it but I just find it boring and outdated). I loved Peter's arc, Gwen was the best part, and Electro was a damn great villain. Also one of the best scores in a comic book movie. I can't deny that the story is all over the place but the movie just rewatchable and a guilty pleasure. We need TASM 3!

To be honest, I liked the amazing Spider-Man but probably because it was one of my first introductions to the character… ok well one of my first. Before I saw this movie, I thought Peter was just that high school teenager who dressed up in a costume and saved the day. But this film shows how Peter is more then that, and how’s he broken son. Having someone’s parents ripped away from them is thought, especially at a young age.

But obviously they didn’t listen to Kevin’s advice because in their ridiculous minds Avi Arad IS God, Avi is just a dumb businessman who doesn’t understand the fans and would rather do it for the money over the quality of the movie, and we already saw what happened to Morbius and that movie could’ve been a great one if they took time to flesh out the story and give it a R rating. Also have a much better cast, especially for Michael Morbius himself (no offense Jared, but your method acting killed the movie but visually you were perfect for the character)

I personally do not agree with this whatsoever for one reason only and that being that in 2015 there were no plans to bring in Andrew Garfield into the MCU and neither was spiderman as a character so Kevin's opinion about the story in my opinion is irrelevant because spiderman was not tied in with iron man, the avengers, or anybody else so Spiderman's story had lots of room to grow due to the fact that he was not within the same universe therefore an extensive plot was perfectly fine because it's not like it was going to interfere with the MCU because he was simply not in it. If you redid this Tom Holland's spiderman then Kevin would be absolutely right because the MCU characters are codependent when it comes to plot and can be weaved together and influence each other's plots.

I hate that they let Spider-Man ignore all the people in traffic from the opening scene just to save one dude, I don’t know if we watched the same movie but what I saw was a big ass truck run full sleep into civilian cars, smashing them to pieces, as well as flipping over cop cars and causing a chain reaction. Spider-Man should’ve stopped the truck before it hit any of the cars therefore saving electro and everyone else 💀 But no they just let them all likely pass

I even could've dealt with the scene if after the entire thing, you have Peter break down about the people he could've gotten killed.But yeah I feel like just general dialogue fixes and some added scenes on Electro's character motivations would've made the movie more receptable
