People tend to forget, as with many other players...how great KG was. This dude in his prime was one of the best this game has ever seen. Top 20-25 ever. Elite defender, rebounder, scorer and was on of the first bigs with a REAL jumpshot. Paved the way for these Stretch 4's and 5's. Much love for the big ticket

For me MPJr didn't help this Nuggets, he is 2nd tallest player in the line up and he always rely on Jokic he always spoon-feeding, he didn't help rebound when Jokic always shoot bricks 3s , he never been a threat against Wolves that's why the most defense was on Murray and Jokic who is the provider of the team. If only this skinny dude show up and help, when those 2 key players struggle to scores.

They make up for it in other ways and when they are clicking on the pts it is considered an added bonus. MPJ is really supposed to be that true third option though. He should be averaging at least 15 pts every game in a playoff series.

KG is right though about the Nuggets, they needed to keep that bench together, but that should be their main objective this season and getting their depth back. I still think next season they can win a title because that's really what they were missing, or they would've repeated this year. Minnesota won't be as hungrier next year, so if they run into them again, I'm taking the Nuggets pending their changes this offseason.

The issue was this Timberwolves team is really designed to exploit Denver's weaknesses in personnel with their personnel. They have the big bodies to just throw at Jokic all game long and few teams can do that and have the perimeter personnel to guard off of Jokic. It also didn't help Jamal has been streaky this whole playoffs. Like we know he has injuries and is streaky in the normal season but playoff Jamal is why he is still around. He is supposed to elevate to a superstar level in the playoffs but unlike last year he was up and down the entire time. I know he had a calf injury but at some point if you're having trouble staying healthy for multiple years then does that effect your overall value. Also MPJ is also so streaky. He is supposed to be the true third option for the Nuggets and he should average less than 15 pts a game in a playoff series.

I was reviewing the salary of the main players for the Wolves nxt year: Kat 49 mil, Gobert 43.8 mil, Ant 35.5 mil, Jayden 22.5 mil, Naz 14 mil, Conley 10.5 mil. Thats around 175 million USD (without the salaries of the rest of the team) vs 141 mil salary cap. The Wolves have been going all in and investing in their players. I hope they win the chip.

If Glen is still in control of the team at the end of this summer, he'll do a salary-dump trade of either KAT or Gobert to get under the cap. This is the bastard so cheap that he once traded a draft pick for *CASH*. The guy who blew up the "MV3" and called it a "mistake" after they had one bad year and difficulty getting Spreewell to take a pay cut. The guy who had his POBO make such a lowball offer to Kevin Love that he was insulted and demanded a trade. If A-Rod & Lore win their lawsuit, they'll spend right through the second apron for at least one year to make an additional title run with this squad, including any roster moves Tim Connely wants to make that kick things up a notch. Everybody who matters to this year's playoff run is already under contract for next year except Slo-Mo, who might turn out to be very cheap to re-sign after he tests the market following a career-low year of shooting.
