That's pretty normal for high level high school kids. Jason Kidd was the #1 player in the country in my area when I was growing up and he would regularly workout with the Golden St. Warriors and other hometown pros like Gary Payton, JR Rider and Brian Shaw

How often are we discussing and breaking down zekes impact on the game and how he effected the young cats coming up? They all tell stories like Kg just did but how often do those stories get publicized? We here Zeke lead the bad boys that were good but no one liked him. We constantly here how much his peers did y like him, and how sneaky and petty he was. How many Isaih Thomas documentaries do we have? Why do people say Iverson is the best small guard but Zeke gets little to no discussion? Why is zekes name skipped the goat pg debate but somehow Stockton and curry just leap frogged him? He gets some flowers but not nearly as many as he should for what he did.

This was 1995 and Isiah Thomas had retired and was the part owner and GM of Toronto, was going to draft Garnett to only play home games (while he took college classes), told McHale how good KG was and Isiah drafted Damon Stoudamire when Toronto fans wanted Ed O'Bannon. So get your facts straight. Garnett arrived in Chicago the summer of 1994 (after Zeke retired) and graduated in 1995. You were saying?

I love KG but he went straight to the pros for one reason. He was set to go to DePaul and couldn't pass the entrance exam the rest is history. I can remember Chicago sports writers kilin him in every story about how dumb he was. I couldn't believe grown men were writing this stuff about a HS kid.
