yeah, Clark's game seems to be way faster than her contemporaries. That's why she's more exciting to watch. She steals a lot of those rebounds from her teammates sometimes, but only because the bigs are too slow to grab it and pass/push the ball up the floor to setup the offense. I would prob do the same thing if i was her.

Clark is just like Larry legend , high IQ shooter , passer , runs the offense, trash talks but backs it up , shares the ball , elevates her teammates. Think about this Boston was 2 assists away from a triple double . Lexi Hull dropping threes all possible because of the threat Clark poses . We’re talking about a rookie who pulls up 3’s from 30 ft who else as a rookie had that kind of green light . Stop hating and watch a game , her play style is invigorating and you can see other teams starting to speed up the game and it can only get better from here . People also need to stop promoting videos of the haters because they are just latching on to her career to stay relevant (swoops) and I didn’t capitalize her name because she doesn’t deserve respect . She literally just said Clark is the weakest of the Fever starters . Really ??!!!??

The W did everything they could to insure the failure of CC, starting with the stacked schedule they set up to make success as hard as possible for the worst team in the league, the Fever. The players, coaches, officials, teams, press and management have also done everything they could to humble CC as well. The NBA should have addressed this on day 1, period.

CC had no break. She was coming into a new league. How many rookies were guarded in the backcourt? She was double-teamed and in one of the most ridiculous things, the WNBA wanted to captialize on her populatrity and so they front loaded the Fever schedule, did not allow a young team to gel and then don't acknowledge her

Not true at all, I've watched every game this season. Her first 10 games were ROUGH. She's just now in the last 10 games gotten into her groove. And I've said all along we STILL haven't seen her best. I can't imagine the jump she will make with an entire summer off to work on her game. Another aspect is her teammates learning to play at her pace. Boston came in out of shape and got it going after she got into game shape.

The biggest factor over the break was that she needed exactly that, a break. She was already an excellent point guard/court leader. But she needed a break to recalibrate and catch her breath. And it took half a season for her team to gel. Her skills were already pro level, which is why they were winning more than losing before they hit the break. Now she's re-energized. Now they're making a Finals run!

IDK, she currently is scoring 17.9 ppg, which is 11th all-time, 0.9 ppg ahead of Diana Taurasi's rookie year, when she scored 17.0 a game. There have been THREE W rookies who scored over 20 a game: Cynthia Cooper (22.2), Seimone Augustus (21.9), & Aja Wilson's 20.7. But NONE of those rookies scoring all these points were also leading the whole league in assists (8.3).

Clark can not make people catch a pass or keep up with her. The only ones who thought she was not doing well are those who didn't watch the games. It took time to get everyone used to how she plays, and how she passes. Plus she had to get used to how they played, and their strengths. It was a learning experience for everything, to expect the unexpected pass, because her game IQ and ability to read the game is so high. Shes already set multiple records, thats not something a struggling player does, let alone as many as shes done in this amount of games.

Uh Caitlin didn't have to adjust to the "speed" of the game in the W. Physicality yes. Not speed. Her teammates and the rest of the league has to adjust to HER speed. Also her passing immediately translated, but her teammates at the time couldn't catch them at her level. That is where she struggled. Also the complete lack of screens and stops. And an incompetent coach who tried to use her as a perimeter shooter instead of the Point God that she truly is.

She never gets credit for being the fastest on the court and the most in shape, she is conditioned for this combo of speed and cardio, not a ounce of body fat, she’s just built different and everyone is trying to make excuses why. She’s the greatest scorer to ever come out of college, male or female. She has the gift of the pass. Her style of play has never been attempted by a woman. Couple men have tried. I think she has a shot. I also think she needs to cherry pick and shoot closer to the line at least half her 3-pointers. Your body has to feel n remember where that line to most accurately shoot from the outfield. Watch Steph, he’s always re-calibrating himself almost like the rest of us do at the free throw line 😂🏀 She’s so amazing. More importantly, little n big girls all over the country, and the world, relate to her. You can be soft, sweet, intelligent, kind and still be strong enough to face and dominate any adversity!

When I watch her play, I'm reminded of Bird, Magic, Isaih, Clyde, Earl the Pearl, Pete, John. All point guards (or behaving like one, in Bird's case, but all could shoot the eyes out of the basket, and that's the difference) that completely energized their teams into champions. And the biggest difference between the guys and the girls, is NO DUNKING. Yes, NO DUNKING. Dunking is an adolescent's mind of greatness, when all it is, is something a tall person can do. Actually making shots from a distance is a skill. Reaching up is not a skill. I'm 'only' six four, and I can dunk a basketball. Because I'm tall enough to do it, and I have good legs. No skill at all.

The only way I watched WNBA was all of the hype of Catlin Clark. I had to see it for myself. What I found was Clark making shots that I could never make. I also found a lot of talent around the leage. Please Ladys I want to see some "Badd Ass" basketball play, and not some chicken s__t cheap shots !

She is shooting 41% from the field and 32% from 3. Yeah by wnba standards that might be good but those are bad shooting numbers. She is improving though but let's not act like she is an amazing shooter, it's not accurate

For now. Her shots are almost always contested. The players she is around are better than those in college, and the defenses are setup specifically to stop her. They have only slowed her down a tad.

Statement should have taken 2-5 minutes, with video of Garnett. After I heard the same thing, for the 5th time, I turned it off, thumbs down.
