Kevin gates is a really interesting guy. Dude is intelligent and talented. He grew on me over the years and despite what the streets think of him its always a breath of fresh air when someone can be his own individual. Dude is funny and doesnt even have to try, and he really knows his music outside of just mainstrean or just one category in hiphop or music in general. Out of the boot only a few rappers standout in originality kevin gates, currency, boosie and soulja slim and mystical. Lil wayne was good when he was young, but his experimenting with music over the years just didnt come natural like he was trying too hard and should of just stayed with his main style. Of course b.g and turk was also good but they were never consistent. Im talking consistent rappers nots producers or very successful people like master p who i know was also a rapper

I applaud his growth and I pray he finds that ultimate balance; but it’s definitely a major over compensation for that which ISNT for sure. But I want him to not just “win”, I truly pray for his true peace. People often think peace is solely one with God or yourself, but evidence of that DIVINE peace is evidence in one’s ability to reconcile the relationships or make peace with those relationships you were wrong in. Kevin has far too many people that were loved ones that were near and dear to him - specifically his cousin NOOK and Percy Keith to name a few. However, your heart and core spirit changes your actions and reconciles the wrong you have done to others. For the less informed and selectively ignorant due to fan delusion meant - in a more simplistic nutshell - out of all religions… “Islam would be the last of all of religions that one could truly be committed and devout that would allow even the slightest thought or word mumbled about “sellling heroine”, “moving loads,” “fucking the plug daughter,” “smashing… or murda bigness”.
