The fact Kevin took the opportunity to get the redzone liner out of the way with this incident is just plain genius. And I bet he got paid extra because this clip will get views for years.. For those who may not get it. I worked in Radio on NFL broadcasts for over 4 years.. The announcers have a set list of liners, promos etc that they HAVE to read throughout the broadcast, you've heard em. In our situation we had an onsite engineer ( who is with the on air talent) and myself at a radio station elsewhere recording the times of every liner, promo etc they have to read during a broadcast. At the end of the night those times and mentions get sent to Traffic ( traffic being staff who grab audio of said promos etc and send to clients to who paid for the air time). Traffic sends the audio to the advertisers to show they fulfilled their contractual obligations. The majority of PBP guys would have never used that kind of an opportunity to knock out a sponsor read but Kevin did.. Goes to show you how quick and smart he is on fly..
