I had the same critique at first that Trev was interrupting but as I watched I realized that was the point. We're so used to the interview style of "here's a platform and we wanna hear you talk as the guest" but I don't think that's what Trev wants with his show. It's not an interview, it's just 2 homies shooting the shit on camera. That actually takes the pressure of holding a conversation away from Kev and increases the dialogue dynamics which makes for better interaction. This is by far the best sit down I've seen all year. Both had words of wisdom to share and good banter to go along.

So many complaining about Trev interrupting Kev. Man, think of it as a conversation, because it doesn't necessarily need to be an interview. It's a podcast, and it can be whatever they want it to be. And it was a hilarious, genuine and heartwarming conversation

His perspective on life and seizing opportunities after realising that he did not have the luxury to mess up his life as an adult is so real & relatable , I appreciate how he stood his ground on what his standpoint is concerning what success looks like to him & ensuring you secure your legacy for your children. He did not bend to Trevor's way of implying that the accident was why he no longer has the fear he had before.

I actually like seeing Kev being pushed out of his comfort zone and challenged to be himself as he truly is and not able to retreat into the public persona. It's a pretty genius Jungian approach to an interview format to push one of the biggest stars out there to take off the mask. He's "interrupting" because they're friends and pushing him to be the person he knows and not the person he is on camera, and that's really cool. Trevor speaks to him as a friend and someone who knows and cares about Kev as a human being, not the star, and challenges him to stand on his takes. It can seem rude or lame, but it's a style of interview that leads to gems.

The interview between Kevin Hart and Trevor Noah was an absolute delight to watch. Their conversation was filled with humor, charm, and genuine camaraderie that only two comedic powerhouses can bring. Trevor’s sharp wit paired so well with Kevin’s infectious energy, creating a dynamic that felt both effortless and entertaining. Beyond the laughs, there was a deep sense of respect and admiration in the air. Trevor’s thoughtful questions gave Kevin a chance to reflect on his growth, while still keeping the tone light and engaging. Whether they were joking about everyday life or diving into Kevin’s creative process, the conversation was the perfect blend of humor and inspiration.

34:52 That smile on Kev's face was like... My boi knows me. I know people are struggling with the "interruptions", but this is a conversation between friends and in my experience with conversations with friends where we just talk life and share thoughts, you circle back, interject, shift ideas and share what new ideas come. These guys are clearly comfortable with each other and even being able to challenge and build on each other. It's wonderful to see underneath the underneath. I feel like im sitting at another table sipping on a coffee, unexpectedly eavesdropping on two good friends and feeling really good about there being such people in this world who take time to engage with each other.

I believe Trevor has a good grasp of Kevin's playful nature and ability to sidestep direct questions. The interruptions enhanced the conversation, making it feel more like a genuine exchange between two gentlemen rather than a traditional interview. This informal dynamic allowed for a more engaging discussion. However, it seemed that Trevor also attempted to revert to a more conventional podcast format at times. Overall, the conversation helped me gain a deeper understanding of both individuals and their thought processes.
