I recently ran some Humboldt for the first time. Sour Apple Auto. Turned out beautifully. Nice easy flavors and an uppity effect that gets me on my feet for 2+ hours. The structure is an in between size but the density is more afghani style than equatorial. Nice work. Will grow again.

Only ever had one auto flower and it definitely had a vigour mostly unseen in other varieties .and also an obvious quality on the aroma.

Got cuts from Kevin for years. Just dipped them when I got them. Never had an issue. The russets in north east Humboldt were sprayed. Took pictures one of the days they were directly hitting all the mom and pops. Supposedly to control the thistle. They got me for an acre that year

Our season in Maine shuts off suddenly. In our dreams something could stay in until Halloween, though it's much more realistic to realize that end of September to Columbus Day is the now or never timeframe.

I like that we are talking pharmaceutical. Previously, I have tried to predict the future and continually come back to the possibility that THC will be offered as an infusion in alcoholic beverages like Budlight not because I advocate this, but because I think it is inevitable. My reasoning begins with how many dollars have been spent in publicly offered shares in marijuana producers in Canada and Europe and the USA that will cause shareholders to demand that the largest number of consumers of cannabis possible to be created as a market development. The psychology that I added to this market development comes from my insight that a large enough population knows already that they are suffering from the symptoms of alcohol, and so cannabis can easily be marketed to this consumer group to treat these symptoms. But production requirements to infuse recreational alcoholic beverages to help consumers party and socialize and reward themselves is not going add up type of consumer demand that has been promised to shareholders. So further market development beyond alcohol is therefore, inevitable. It means we have to figure out how we can get a large enough consumer group who consume more regularly than for recreation or socializing or partying. The answer I am beginning to put together is that the effects of marijuana are not just chemical, but are managed through connecting with other consumers. I think this is also true of alcohol if you think about how it can have the effect to relax or to party at a fast pace, and everything in between. Thus, shareholders are at the mercy of new market development through the creation of the expansion of these connections between consumers that happen in communities and groups, and even culture. What is the obstacle? Well it has to do with the motivations to consume more than for partying and socializing, and I think we are starting to admit that the motivation is medical. But just as "the effects" are a result of the connections to other consumers, so are the side effects, or the lack of them, also the result. Therefore, the new market development that we all are waiting for, but we know is inevitable, is always dependant on new consumers connecting with current consumers in order to manage the side effects and allow consumers to overpower them. This is not going to work because the current consumers are oppressed and suffering from oppression. I am in Canada and I do not consume cannabis yet. After legalization I walked into to a dispensary where I was met by a pharmacist, who told me that I had little to no chance of getting the strain and dosage correct in the recreational market. So not only does the medical market create the expansion we are talking about by offering regular consumption, but the medical model where the product is "administered" eliminates/replaces the old requirement of each consumer to "connect with others" to help make the side effects go away. "Administration" does the same thing that "being connected to others," does to manage side effects, and this frees the current consumers at each point in the legalization timeline to work through/fight the oppression of "visible regular consumption." The medical model is really necessary, and at each stage of the timeline becomes replaced by the creation of new strong consumer groups supporting each other through their "connections to each other." So if legalization kills the medical market, then it also kills the legalization timeline, stalling it. The proof is the consumer groups created during the medical market and by the medical market. We should be looking to pharmaceutical programs to succeed and become national programs in order to see the creation of many new consumer groups supporting each other and that are completely self sustainable on the legalization timeline (meaning, the national and international pharmaceutical programs make themselves unnecessary because they are replaced by an ecosystem of new consumer groups). In summary: the effects and the lack of side effects are often the result of a consumer's connection to another consumer, but this role can also be played by a consumer's connection to the person who is "administering" the consumption of the product; and the medical model has and needs to continue to support new market development and fostering of new consumer groups until the legalization timeline is complete. While the completion of the legalization timeline is inevitable, the speed of it is dependant on how cannabis is "administered" to new consumer groups. To the naysayers who say they do not want cannabis flavoured Budlight or cannabis pills/capsules made by Pfizer and Merk and Novartis: cannabis is medicine and the goal of shareholders coincidentally in is inline with solving the worlds problems that we saw during the pandemic, or maybe that you have always seen, and the more people who consume cannabis the closer we will be to healing the wounds caused to humanity by colonization and removing the filter that we view/gaze/see each other. It is a spiritual evolution of humans, or a transmutation; and cannabis is "necessary, but not sufficient." www.txst.edu/philosophy/resources/fallacy-definitions/Confusion-of-Necessary.html#:~:text=A%20necessary%20condition%20is%20a,the%20occurrence%20of%20the%20event Thus, the further we travel along the timeline, the more the "naysayers of commercial cannabis" will appear to have in common with right wing conservatives and extremists who want the world to stay as it is. To reiterate, the common goal of investment shareholders and the spiritual community is to have the largest number of people in the world consuming cannabis; and it is ironic that one role alcohol plays in human history is to be necessary, but not sufficient for this event to occur; and the process of colonization was necessary but not sufficient to create modern medicine which is the number one obstacle to removing the very filter and world view created by colonizer for the colonized. It's easily agreed upon that it is appropriate that it should be a plant to release the vice grip western medicine has on what we see and perceive.
