But he's done something that paper champ Conor McNugget can't see to do and that is talk crap to the right fight of El Cucuy and then step up to take the fight and want to come back for seconds. And despite having a staph infection and fighting emotional, he did not look back in that performance against Tony.

Yes, sick and all (even with the doctor looking at that Staph before the fight) he wasn't trying to have a cancellation that is becoming to common. He was there to show up and try to back up every taunt and insult hurled at Tony unlike the stalling and ducking of paper champ Conor McNugget who just prefers to slap around referees instead of fighting the real fight. And Lee is outright seeking another fight with Tony. No running after a loss. Which I feel Conor just may do after his loss against the Boogie Man since he apparently needs to be forced to take the fight as champ. Nonetherless, some earned respect to Lee even if he still is not my favorite.

The dude just won against a past his prime Pettis, and before that he was getting tooled in the Alvarez fight.

Conor McNugget is just out of the picture for this tough division and IMO.
