Rubio playing for the Jazz during the playoffs in 2018 was an underrated key player. He's a defensive wasp nest and has consistent cutting and scoop scoring skills.

I really respect and love Rubio, however, his issues for the Jazz is that he's slow and isn't a scorer. His inability to drive past his defender to either score or pull defenders in for easy kick-out 3's was his problem on the Jazz. He's good at driving on slow defenders after a screen to force a switch in defenders, or where he really shines is in transition when the defense isn't set. He's a wizard, his passes and steals are electric, and beyond that is he's a great human.

@@GasPi111 I can't say this enough, you CLEARLY don't watch jazz games if you think Spida plays iso/hero ball. Clarkson does that for the second unit for sure. However, the Jazz wouldn't be leading the league in Screen-Assists if the Jazz's highest usage rating player was setting up Iso's all game. He only does that at end of games. Please research.

Actually it's great not to imagine but to remember. The only thing is thar he was 17 when first time played for Spain national team, which its still a record. He was 14 years and 11months when first time played ACB (spanish 1st division) for Joventud de Badalona which it's also a record. This man deserves all the good things in his career. Man the Cavs have been playing truly fabulous basketball. I was looking and their record the past 3-4 weeks is pristine... The only losses were to elite teams and by very narrow margins. And 8-9 of them are averaging double digits in scoring. I consider them a contender in the East. I definitely did not see that coming!! I may have to start cheering for these upstarts.

he's probably done, unfortunately, as a big rubio fan. He's already had an ACL tear in the past and he's in his declining years now at 31. At best he'll come off the bench on a vet minimum for someone maybe, like a Rondo type role on the lakers
