Cody loses at 39 so he has to go through a hero's journey fighting the ronin (brock) fracturing the tyrant king's family (jey) finding allies (seth) then he comes back a different man and finally beats the tyrant king. We don't just want celebrities getting pops all day. We want actual storytelling and HHH is good at that. HHH is a creative man and it shows. Chad Gable is a bully and Otis just can't take it anymore. That was my favorite pop because there was a story behind it.

His booking of NXT sold out arenas for PLE’s. There are very specific reasons why they don't stay in theater longer than a week. For one, audiences have no attention span to wait for word-of-mouth reviews, for movies with slow character development and slow-burn plots, and so they want instant gratification. They also have to move on to the next thing within a few minutes after it's over. This puts pressure on studios to make everything flashy, style-over-substance, and as blockbuster-y as possible. (Actor/directors like Matt Damon have lamented this at length.) Also, there isn't money to be made by keeping movies in theaters for a long time, as they have to pay a fee for every theater holding their films, and again, with the short attention span of audiences, movies make no money after that first weekend. Finally, we no longer have video rental stores anymore to give the film a second wave of earnings 6 months after release, so the movie has to make what it can opening week, then push to stream and hope for the best. (Add into this the writing and story archs are trash as investors push their woke/DEI agenda on studios and directors and so they are less about art and more about platforming and remaking movies with "progressive" stories.)
