Randy "Macho Man" Savage's opinion of The Rock: "The Rock, a cool dude because of the fact that when he comes in to the dressing room he shakes everybody's hand, looks everybody in the eye, he doesn't stir it up in the dressing room. ... The Rock and the Undertaker are two generals in the locker room. When you're an elite dog, dude, you have a responsibility not to stir it up, not to cause turmoil that's not there. But you - Hulk Hogan - what you do is you thrive on it."

Nah more like xpac a little brother. You can see how their bond is. They both drunk and probably on something else. But Wrestling politics were something crazy back then. Nash probably isn’t lying tho. He was well respected in the business of WCW and WWE. The drama they had there was real behind the curtains. But I’m pretty sure Rock had some say so as well. If that’s what PAC was trying to say. But Goldberg also had to put rock in his place too. After the rock returned and was already a Hollywood Star. He wrestle for awhile but was acting like A Big shot and demanding certain things leading up to a PPV match with Goldberg. Goldberg too felt the same as Nash. The wrestling world is competitive. Even tho it’s fake and predetermined. They really have drama behind the curtains

Listen, if The Rock is telling Nash how things should go then so be it. At the end of the day it was The Rock who had to step up and everyone else in the WWE at the time, and compete against the other company who were trying to bury them. A company that had, oh, Kevin Nash on the other side.

I heard Nash was a bully. If you are making money from the interview you did from them then I can understand your motivation to pay these guys. I have not heard of the impression "ham and eggers" before. Thanks for clearing that up. If you have time check out a documentary on youtube called "shadows in motions". Reveals quite a lot.

Thanks for your input! This clip is from the Shoot Interview that we did with RF Video. While they didn't "bury" Hogan or The Rock, they did share some unique experiences with them and we felt many people would like to hear that. You're right though, perhaps not as many people would click on this video if it was titled "Nash & X-Pac speak kindly on their friends Hulk & Rock"...but our intention was not to mislead anyone. Simply another interpretation of the word "shoot".

No one talks of The Rock in this light. 2:39 Wow! Kevin Nash referring to Hulk Hogan as the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Hogan couldn't wrestle their way out of a paper bag, and like one guy said their grandma can do a better leg drop. I mean if you're talking about the guy that made more money for everyone, maybe. Not sure if Rock or Stone Cold beat them out with that. Usually pro wrestlers will say Ric Flair, Harley Race, Shawn Michaels, even Undertaker...but NEVER Hogan. I love how these guys are piling on The Rock, one of the most over and successful wrestlers ever, when neither one of these guys drew anything long term. Hell, Waltman never drew anything, and it's his own damn fault. When Waltman had his head screwed on right, he could fucking go. He could work, he knew the business, he could have been one of the best ever but he just didn't care enough. If Waltman could have kept his nose clean and stayed off the drugs, he could have been as big as at least Jericho or Mysterio. He'd still probably be a hand today. I don't know that he'd have been a top, top guy, but he would have been a solid upper midcard guy. Probably could have helped a lot of younger guys, too. And Nash was fortunate enough to either get the rub from Shawn Michaels, or land in a hot angle that Bischoff stole from new Japan. I bet Nash really thinks he drew in the 90's. No dude, you carried Shawn Michaels' bags, and then Bischoff spoon fed you the nWo. You were never a draw, that's why Vince let you go even after being champ for a year. The nWo was the draw. There's a reason Paul Wight has worked for 20+ years, and Nash's doing drunken shoots on KZbin. There's a reason why Glen Jacobs is still in wrestling and Kev is on the outside looking in. All you had was size and a look and if you go back and watch WCW it's easy to see when Scott Hall quit writing Kevin nash's promos for him.

Spot on dude- if it wasn’t for the steroid trial in the 90s Nash would still be at ringside watching ol HBK! Only got the strap because he wasn’t on the juice. And then was lucky again by association with a new hot angle in wcw! I love his shoots but the guy hasn’t done anything of significance in the industry since what 96?

Look at you marks. Nash has always written his stuff. And Nash was so on steroids- you can’t get shoulders like that normally. The invasion angle was copied but not the actual NWO. The Wolfpac and gang stuff was still his. Regardless, pretty sure NWO at s time was drawing more.You can tell Nash always wrote his promo’ because he always uses similie’s. Pretty distinct.

Honestly, and easily to conclude that there is a 40% chance Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wins a street fight between him and Kevin Nash, 50% Nash wins, and 10% chance they beat the hell out of each other to a “draw.” I give Nash the edge because of his enlistment in the United States Army (having a Military Police MOS) and achieving the rank of Specialist, even as a Marine myself, I’ll give Nash a bit of credit for it.

Easy to downplay someone when you see their success. Rock is on his own level, respectful and stays in his lane. I used to like Nash (Diesel) as a young’n. But dude he just bashed everyone. Sit on the sidelines boy. Keep on hating
@Bertaut
@Bertaut 11 жыл бұрын
Correct. Even some of his early WCW stuff. There's a WCW match between himself and Bret Hart (it's easy to spot cause Hogan has no mustauche in it) and they do some pretty good chain wrestling. Also, some of his matches against Muta and others in Japan show he could certainly 'wrestle'. I mean, the guy was trained by Hiro Matsuda, a legendary pure grappler.

Apparently Rock was wary of Nash because of the clique and he didn't want him to take over, which I find is fair enough. Nash went to WCW and had to earn his spot, not walk right in and try to take Rocks
@Ultradude604

Nash has the fighting ability of a big piece of wood. He'd have a high chance of losing while walking to the fight, before any fight starts, his quad has a 80 percent chance of tearing.
