Rangers couldn't play European football from 2012 until 2017 played in the Champions league 22/23 played 10 won 2, fair enough it was qualifiers but still WINS!! Is it true Celtic haven't won a knock out game in ANY European competition since they progressed to the final of the old UEFA Cup in 2003? Rangers went to the Europa league final twice in that time. and Rangers are the ONLY reason why there has been automatic Champions League qualification from the SPFL, due to their SUPERIOR coefficient numbers!!!

Palace were in the championship in 2013 and I went along with a mate to Selhurst to watch Palace vs Hull city. The game finished 4-2 and Phillips scored 3. He was only a few months short of his 40th birthday but he was by a mile the best player on the pitch. Not just his finishing but his touch and everything was a class above.

I remember going to Old Trafford to see Sunderland play local ish to me. We're 3-0 down I think, Phillips has a rare chance, one on one v Barthez, given offside but still slammed it home just to do it. Bar and in, I heard the crack on the woodwork from the other side of the stadium, Barthez rooted. Not his most glorious moment obviously as play had stopped, but then the whole ground, pretty much filled with United fans, started chanting "Phillips for England". As a Sunderland fan that gave me chills
