Mentality was the thing Sir Alex taught them. You can be talented but without the mentality you’ll never be the greatest. I hope Ten Hag delivers because I can feel he has that Aura to manage United, one of the hardest job in the world!

The only aura Ten Hag’s got is an aura of arrogance and of an egomaniac. Worst manager in europe. But go on ManU fans, cheer up to the man who broke all negative records, i guess you wanna play championship football.

@@topsykret. We've Sacked 6 managers since Fergie. Which manger has been successful? Is it only one guy's fault for 12 years of failures? How idiotic comment is that. Mourinho, Van Gaal, Rangnick and ETH were all top managers before joining Man United. All failed! Do you understand what that means? We finished 3rd with a trophy after 6 years in his first season. What backing he got in his 2nd season? How many injuries did we have this season? Manager should be egoistic. Fergie was and Pep is. The way he dealt with Ronaldo and Sancho situation was excellent. He's that Aura.

Fact? Not at all. Your comment is so dumb and ignorant. Fergie retired because his wife's sister and best friend passed away, and he wanted to be at home with her more. Also, he had major surgery on his hip. These two reasons are common knowledge. Everyone knows...except you, apparently. He was open about his reasons.

How Sir Alex won the league in that last season with the team they had then was amazing. As Rooney says it was an ageing team and the youngsters coming through probably weren't at the level required to carry the club by themselves. Without Fergie there to build the next team it was always going to be an incredibly hard task. I think only Pep could've delivered sustainable success like he has at City.

As someone who doesn't follow football properly anymore, but whom followed the millennium era intently, how would you describe to me what Rooney means when he says football has changed.... Seems like that was a broader comment on the game, not just a slam on the antics in the locker room there.

You are all crying about Lingard and Pogba. Who gave them fat contracts and paid big money for them Fergusson sold marquee players that it wasn't happening for before such as veron and a string of goalkeeper prior to van DER sar it is too easy to blame those players although I won't deny how they don't come off as well as some of those old boys. Not that the tabloids didn't have plenty to say about womanisers like Ferdinand and Giggs either - do your homework U can point the finger at social media as much as U can the players attitudes

Basically, the father in Sir Alex left, the elder brother who knew of the way followed, the children wasn’t raised properly and went through many stepfather who the kids never really respected. The children eventually grew up but still arrogant and change what was once a great family into this pile shit hole that hard to be dig up. My solution is a hard one, but I believe removing any player who ever in the same locker room as Pogba, Lingard, and Shaw except Bruno need to be sold. Even for a loss, it’s better to lose money than the winning culture that they once had. Do it before the next generation of players come and forget the greatness of Man Utd, before all they know is the bs team that is led by Pogba and the shit trio.

One man kept Manchester United grounded, kept it as a place of honour, respect for the history and traditions of the club no matter what Rooney and Carrick did when you are fighting a losing battle on the pitch and behind the scenes traditions mean nothing. Everyone blames the managers at the club but is that fair, when you have clowns in the dressing room. The young guys never had the leaders in the dressing room to get them to focus Imagine fergie walking in and seeing lingard dancing after a defeat to Liverpool. He would do his nut. The respect that we fans have for sir Alex ferguson and his players is amazing and will never go away. Legends Never Die.

SAF ran a tight ship and sadly the new generation of players didn't experience that, so when they got similar managers like LVG, Mourinho etc there were massive problems and clashes between the players and managers, the players started thinking they were bigger than the club and this lack of discipline and poor attitude is what caused them to fall from grace. When SAF was in charge no one was bigger than the club or manager. Everyone fell in line.

Like the likes of lingard, his skills was not good enough for united and still blame the club in the end and left for forest and split out bad words about United the club gave him his career and paid his whole life. And still he couldn't extended his contract even one year deal at forest that's how good he is. There you go proof right here of how players with bad attitude and mentality ruined our dressing room. This is how player power begins when these kind of players gang up against other players and the coach which puts the board and owners at a tough place; lose the coach or a certain player or a group of players at once. This is also one of the reasons why we haven’t had any success lately. Pogdope, lingardinho, lakaka, and now sanzero, and trashy are prime examples . We know how things went down with podoper; he fought with Mourinho on a training session which was being recorded about a silly instagram post and later he let Riola and his brother make bad public statements about the club on his behalf. All the rest of the clowns did the same thing; publicly complain and whine instead of proving themselves on the pitch which shows their unprofessionality and class. They are all social media influencers not pro footballer’s. If you need more proof look at all of their careers now. Pogdope banned for 4 years (career over). Lingardinho finally joined a unknown club in a trash league after a year or 2. Lakaka disloyal to every club he has been, rejected by Inter and now Roma doesn’t want him either. Sanzero backstabbing Ten Hag who gave him 3 months of vacay to train by himself yet at the end insults him and now is back at Dortmund which is where he belongs. Trashy recently addressing his critics in a public interview when he can’t even perform well whilst being fit and almost playing every game this season. He whole united career has been so inconsistent yet his mouth moves but his leg remains still. I also remember shaw taking a jab at Ragnick in an after game interview saying maybe Ragnick can come up with a solution tactically as if Ragnick was the problem when the players were playing bad. It felt like they were playing badly on purpose to get him out of the club as he was super vocal about them and the club. This is why Ragnick bluntly said Man United needs an open heart surgery. Looking at the players behavior during Ragnick’s time when they were at the tunnel and after the match ended one could easily tell that there were/are cliques within the dressing room. And that clique is Maguire, Shaw and Trashy. This clique needs to go before we start rebuilding our squad as even one rotten apple can turn the whole batch rotten.

And that first part is the main reason it fell away so fast under Moyes. He never had a chance. Fergie got a good 20% extra out of those players for one final season.
